Default Teacher quizzed on \'drug rape\' girl (He taught me last year!)

A SENIOR teacher has been arrested over claims he raped a teenager after giving her cocaine.

The school department head has been suspended from his job as detectives investigate.

He is alleged to have attacked the 19-year-old girl — who has no connection with his school in Bridgend, South Wales — after they met at a country pub where he is a regular.

They are said to have had several drinks before leaving together.

The girl later contacted police and the unmarried teacher, who is in his 30s, was arrested.

He was questioned then freed on police bail pending further inquiries.
Sources

It is understood he was arrested two weeks ago. The alleged attack took place three months ago.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: “A man has been arrested in connection with allegations of a sexual offence and an alleged drugs offence.”

Sources confirmed the alleged sex offence is rape and that a Class A drug is involved.

The teacher’s lawyer said: “My client has no comment to make at this stage but he vehemently denies the allegations.”

Bridgend’s education authority said it was inappropriate to comment while police investigate.

Yeah, it's actually illegal to pass judgement on forums before the case is over with - you could be incriminating someone innocent.

yeah trial by media!.. you would be making it harder for the guy to get a fair trial in the future given that a lot of juries are picked from the tibb members list hehe

Haha, who better to choose from... a group of people judging over-zealous wannabes on a television show! We've got the skills to jump the gun and judge upon looks and nothing more. Fair trial.... maybe not!
