Dont you guys think theres too many older people in the house this year? I dunno if thats a good or a bad thing yet but what dyu guys think? Will the dynamics be different to previous years?

I was hoping there would be more young housemates.

Well it's the first line up I've known nearly all of the names so it doesn't bother me about their age.

Theres lots of young people too.
Michelle, Mutya, Ben and Lucy. My guess is that they will stick together as they used to be in bands.

Reeet, ok. No they are not old (to a 12 yr old then its "omg they anicent!") plus it's only Celebrity Big Brother, will be plenty of young housemates in BB10.

Last years BB Hijack the housemates was a young house.

I usually hate it when there are so many old people but I think they are all so unique and interesting it completely doesn't matter.

A major shift from Celebrity Hijack, where all of them were extremely young.

In the end, it doesn't matter how old they are, but how entertaining they are. We've had boring young contestants, we've had interesting older contestants.

The thing with celebrity is that you typically have to have done something with your life to achieve it (that involves time). When you turn up on celebrity big brother years later it generally means you've failed at being a celebrity/need some extra cash/ or you're retiring from it; so by definition CBB will always feature 'older' participants.

Don't be too surprised, 16-25 year olds generally aren't important or interesting as evidenced in other big brothers.

I suppose the exception to the rule was danielle lloyd sp? last time who proved that dull 18 year olds really don't have enough life experience to know right from wrong.

Yes Celeb BB usually has a few older people on it, especially compared to the summer version, or especially Hijack....im actually glad the cast is spread out age-wise. I didnt mind Hijack but all those people all within 3 years of each other (and very young at that) really grated on me over time, whether they were talented or not.

Im really looking forward to this cast and what they have to show us!

In my view "old" is over 50.

I'm not sure what age the people here would like the HMs to be.
