Default NEW TASK : EGO (There\'s more to it! A TWIST!)

From the official site.

TASK : EGO

Day 2 - Sat 03 Jan 2009, 16:55 PM

Who's the biggest guest star of them all..?

For the first time ever, and for one show only, the CBB housemates will appear in the closing credits of an episode of Celebrity Big Brother. For today's Task housemates have to decide between themselves who should receive which credit.

One housemate will receive a starring credit, two will receive a 'co-starring' credit, two will receive a 'featuring' credit, three housemates will receive an 'extras' credit and three poor housemates will receive no credit at all.

Once they've decided, Head of House Terry will then be given a camera to film the credited housemates in a 'closing credits style' way, which will be broadcast at the end of tomorrow's Celebrity Big Brother episode.

So who'll be the diva, who'll be the leading man? And will there be any more twists to this tale of egos? We'll just have to wait and see.

Wow.Those poor housemates wont know what hit them. This controversial task is sure to shatter their collective ego and cause rows.

Seriously, fire the entire creative staff.

i will...... but it just sounds a bit like the podium taks repackaged a bit, i thought they would have had a better one for the first task. I will give it a chance though.

I suppose, but at least its something, you'd be moaning even more if there was no task. Tina was moaning about not having a task yet when the LF was on. Well hopefully it will be better than it sounds.

It is the first full day in the house. They are all friends with each other for now. This not so subtle task is hardly going to cause much disagreement. Five minuets of the lot of them looking confused before saying to each other ''its only a task'' on the Sunday show.

Is it any wonder ratings have dropped over the past two years, with lazy tasks like this? And the worse is yet to come. Next up comes the assumption on the producers part that all we want to see is the housemates in riddiculous looking costumes.

No, I would not be moaning. Stop making assumptions on my behalf. I dont like the naive idea of the task and i doubt it will be very good. Im not afraid to admit this, of course, because im not one to automatically make excuses for Channel 4 like some.

Christ, this is sheer brilliance. I hope these task-directors are getting a pay-rise.

In all seriousness, who makes this **** up? God, there are better activities to do on this forum!

Wow. What a lame task. Lamer than silly costumes.

Still, it's only the first day...

This could actually be a good task! With some of their personalities, most notable Ulrika, La Toya and Verne... they'll ALL want the 'starring'.

I see some rows happening...

Prejudice? It is a Big Brother task, not the Nation Of Islam.

Yeah but some of the Big Brother veterans amongst us can obviously sniff out a lazy task when we smell one.

Here's how it went down with the HM's.

The housemates decided who goes where in tomorrow's rolling credits...

"I wanna be an extra," said Tina, looking at the props before the Task instructions were even announced. "And everyone who isn't an actor should be a star."

The housemates gathered around the table to await instructions, speculating about what was to come until Terry was called to the Diary Room.

As Terry read out the Task instructions, some of the housemates looked gloomy to hear that there weren't enough 'starring' or 'guest starring' credits to go round. Don't they know there's a credit crunch?

"Me, Mutya and Michelle will be extras," volunteered Tina.

"I'll be nothing, said Ulrika."

"Me too, said Tommy."

Then Tommy decided a more democratic way of deciding which housemate got which credit - and suggested that all the credits should be decided alphabetically - therefore Ben was starring, Coolio and LaToya guest-starring, Lucy and Mutya featuring etc

That was way too fair. What will Big Brother make of that?

Ha LOL No argument...no nothing. Ah well, lets see if the actual task will bring some entertainment.

And that, as they say, is that. Housemates are always going to be kissing ass in the first few days. Wonder what the credits are going to be exactly. Im betting a box of silly wigs. That will drag in the 4 million figures their looking for .
