You really hate this country don't you?

And on a more serious note; you cannot say that having not heard what we're sending yet.

Well yeah, i'm not the biggest lover of this country
The song could be brilliant but with the quality of the 4 acts still in with a chance of representing us I fail to see how we could have any chance of doing well.

I always get really geeky about this competition, and I tend to be more interested in the stage, and the branding of the whole thing.

Like, Helsinki 2007 had the best looking show EVER! The style with the pink/yellow/blue circles etc. It looked soo modern and stylish:

Yeh, its geeky to be interested in all that but I do graphics in school so there!

But anyway, last year it all looked really bad with the navy blue and red. I hope Russia has nice branding =]

Does anybody else like seeing the Televoting more than the actual songs being performed? I love it when they go to each country, 'xciting!

Never know Spike.. Good Luck to The UK.

Also Confirmed this year Greece's Sakis Rouvas will represent Greece.

Sakis sung Shake It back in 2004 and came 3rd. Lets remind ourselves of that video...

Sakis's song is yet to be confirmed.

I really liked the Bosnian entry last year... the weird one with the washing line and the women in wedding dresses, I think it was. I know it's called Pokusaj [with various foreign characters replacing ours].

Also liked Ukraine's [shady lady?]

She has left her record label because they treat her like utter s***. But its not all bad news. Accually thats great news. She has had some offers from 2005's winner Helena Paparizou's Label. Helena has asked to do a song with her

Chears Ross!

Now for another song. The finnish people (for the idiots people from finland) will decide their song in a couple of weeks. The Bookies have this song as the fave to be selected. What do you think? Here is Passionworks with their entry, Surrender.

We might have a chance this year. Look what i found on the BBC website.

Quote:
Voting

The European Broadcasting Union has announced that in the Final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, professional juries in all participating countries will have 50% influence on the result. Televoters will deliver the other 50% of the outcome.
Normally its something like the Jury have 20% of final vote. Maybe if the see sence.. We might get somewhere this year...?

Thats all to stop the 'Block Voting', such as countries next to each other voting for eachother - its mainly political more than a song contest.

I have some exclusive news on the Cypriot Entry!! Iwanna Protopappa, Joanna in English, Is a British student who is only 16 YEARS OLD. She left school after having 10 GCSEs. Then Auditioned for X Factor in Greece/Cyprus version last year. She said she would audition in Greece because she is scared of Simon.

She is threw to the semi finals but she is fave to win. Earlier she spoke to LGR, London Greek Radio, and told them that she had been approached to take part.

She can do loads of genres of music.. And she is good!!

Heres.. Black horse and cherry tree from Week 5.

And the host is Greece's Entry LOL
