Default Ok..... ( Rageful longish question!)

Ok right!
I am really pissed off cause at my school I am friends with someone who everyone thinks is gay. Most people ( like %98 are boys ) make fun of him.

They don't act like ohh im gay but they do horrible things like winking and acting like they are his best friend. Sometimes they push each other into him just to get at him. The worst thing that they do is pretending to like ( don't laugh ) feel him.
We both think its funny that there that sad to try and annoy him.
Seriously it makes me feel so bad for him but i don't think he really cares tbh.
What the worst thing is, is that they only think hes gay because he has a high voice and no other male friends ( because of how they treat him. )
ARGHH!! anyway I wanted to know if anyone elses school was like this??

Yehh, all schools are like that. I'm kinda the "gay" of my year. I don't care though. Whether I'm gay or not is no concern of them (I'm not, by the way lol), but if he doesn't mind, then you shouldn't and the fact is that most girls respect boys who stand their grounds and not those who pick on others to look "hard", so in the end, your friend will come out on top. DamonJ is right about karma as well. It all comes back eventually.

People do it because they know he won't react.. like the bird with the limp wing..

You know when you have a supply teacher, and everyone pulls there strings until they have a go? It's like that, they know how far they can go with him until he will rip out at them. It sucks, yea..

xx

I had a few male friends like this and they did actually come out as gay after we left school. It is bullying though and just because he can or at least act elike he can laugh if off doesnt mean he should have to put up with it.

Thanks again people. I was kinda starting to think that my school was unbeleiveably bad lol x It's still not right tho. Most of the girls in my year are nice to him but the year under me try to be hard and ask him random questions because they know he wont reply.

Sorry i need to stop going on!

you should talk to him.if he genuinely isnt botherd by it then its ok.if he is then you should tell him to stand up for himself.if hes unconfortable with them feeling him up then he needs to tell them to piss of on the spot.

All schools are like that these days. I think it's generally because 'tougher' boys tend to be the people who think they rule the year and if a boy doesn't act like them they see them as being gay. It's just down to ignorance and age really...whether they really mean it or not, there's a bad stereotype of homosexuality in schools these days. As long as they aren't violently bullying him, I can understand why he chooses to laugh at it all. :P

LOL I love how their lives consist of terrorising the newsagents with a can of cider in their hands.

I feel like saying to them. Why do you pick on him so much? If they don't answer then they will feel stupid and if they say because hes gay i would say how do you even know that?
I am just too scared. Its horrible i know but its hard to explain. You can't reason with these boys. Myabe they just need to mature ( alot ) x

Its hard being a mate of someone who gets bullied, don't worry, I'd of kicked them in the bollocks if they touched me in any way, unless I asked them to LOL, but yeah I just sayreport it or get an older relative to warn them off.

I would advise not to try to stick up for him, at least not in public. I know that often when a girl tries to stick up for a boy, it makes the teasing even worse. It shouldn't be this way, but it is. When it happened to me, I told all my friends not to say anything and that I would deal with it, myself, and they left it. It's better to let him deal with it, at least until it gets too serious and malicious. If he sticks up to them, they will respect him. Well, that's what happened to me.
