I think he is just reading into it too much, he thinks that "I'm sorry you're missing the footie" means that Man Utd have won all their games since he has been in the house.

personally if that was the message I dont have a problem with it. I never understand why they arent allowed to know that stuff. Maybe BB should do a news report to them, so they know the daily news but that way BB controls it and the h/ms dont get any hidden messages. It would also give them other topics to discuss
