Default Producers worry about attracting too many old audiences!!

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/bigbroth...-audience.html

I hope in BB10, they choose all people from the ages of 18-34 as it will be more exciting and more young people will tune in.... we have too many people over 40 now, why would teenagers tune into that??

Having more younger people in the house i think, will guarantee more fun and fights. Eg. This year in Italian BB i think its the best series ever because all of them are young and theres something happening all the time.

they havent got a clue. If they think the problem is age, then they have no idea. In fact the supposeded bland ones were young, Ben, Michelle, Mutya or even Maysoon from the summer series.

No ideas and no hope

I think it could be that actually.
BB normally gets 1.1m or something for 16-32 but the last episodes have got 600,000-750,000.

nothing to do with age! being entertaining is based on personality not age!

CBB5 was absolutely horrible, and not just because of the incident that we shan't talk about. It was all oldies. I think you need to balance it out.

The main problem they had.

This is why we tried to kick start a boycott on the c4 website.
they wanted a coma enducing series and thats bang on what they got.
the sheer lack of any direction has been really sad to see.
im hoping its true about the live feed coming back for BB10.
if it doesnt i think bb's days are numbered.

Im not saying that, i just think teenagers in general would think that and i can see teens switching off having a group of people over 40.

I think they wanted this series to go without amy drama, and its more likely to happen with younger people. Fair enough, but I dont think its the reason for lack of young viewers. The previous series, with John mckririck, jackie etc, had more older housemates.
Its only natural anyways, becuase there is more young viewers, while school is out during the summer. The CBB always have more older viewers.

I hate it when it's filled with older people, I just don't find them interesting. It's why I hate I'm A Celebrity these days, because there's always old celebrities.

At last they finally realise - the show has been pushing to go too mainstream for the last couple of years and is suffering for it. Big Brother is classic 16-34 television and that's the audience they should be unashamedly targeting, unafraid to piss off anyone older or younger.
