Default why did she make that comment?

After the hms watched the swearing in of obama why did toya make the remarks that the showing of it was just for the americans in the house and they should have been centre front.
dissapointed me that.

I agree.

I started saying this when she ran her mouth to, Coolio. How on Earth she could witness a lot of what he was doing, and then feel bad for him, is beyond me. It must be from getting her face beat in by her ex-husband. She's probably used to justifying bullies.

I'd hardly call her an idiot. It was an important occasion and she felt people werent taking it very seriously and mocking America, on a day when the American people have proved that they are more forward thinking than a lot of other countries! There was no need to bang on with this anti-American **** at that time. I agree she said some stuff that was a bit ignorant but so frikkin what!

No she was merely saying that it was an important day for Americans and people talked through it and they could have been a bit more respectful. I dont see what the big deal is!

Quote her clrrectly. She didnt say that, she said, it was their moment, so she'd hope they wouldve been offered front row seats. Hadly its just for the americans. ANd the main problem that they had her and verne, was during the speech (which they didnt show), Terry and Tommy felt the need to criticize america, who just accomplished something that no modern country ever had. Terry actually said, cynically, he (obama) didnt actually say what he is going to do even though it was a good speech. ANd that's what really pissed them of. GEt your facts straight.

And here are some facts

Yes, but mostly for the americans. And that was the point. And your OP completely undermines what it was really about.

This is the kind of things that tabloids do. Distort a statement completely take it out of contest to make it sound like something else. At least they have the excuse o being rag tabloids, and thats what they do to get buyers. BUt for just aperson giving an opinion on a forum, I dont get the point, especially knowing weve watched what you have.

Do you even speak english? first of all, you dont put mostly and just in the same sentence. It doesnt make any sense. Mostly means primarily, because it is their country, so obviously they are center stage. Just means ONLY. So again, since you dont seem to understand quickly, just like Latoya said, if they were showing UK type inauguration, she would ve offered front row sets to UK citizens, and taken a back seat, which is what I would do. They are the ones who voted to make it happen, and it affects them more than anybody else who is not american.

I dont need to have an idea who you are or where you come from. You hear latoya say something, you think its something else. You see me write "mostly important for americans" and you interpret that as "only important for americans". I think thats self explanatory. Either you purposely want to hear what you want, or you have trouble with the english language. Quite simple.

La Toya's comments on America being so great, and America is the reason why countries exist, and blah blah blah, was over-the-top.

However, what pissed her off was Tommy's comments. He made a flippant remark the moment the speech was over, criticizing America, with Americans in the house. It was inappropriate, but I cut him some slack since it's the politician in him, and he did go into analyzing it.

I agree, Latoya and verne just showed their ignorance. ANd a lot of americans are like them. But Terry and Tommy were out of order, and I understand were she was coming from.

No, they're not.

The reason Obama was elected was because people were sick to death of the nationalism being shoved down everyone's throats by Republicans.

La Toya just runs up her own ass.

Trust me! I have lived there for more than 10 years, a lot of them think they are the reason most countries have freedom. They do lack knowledge in world history in general. But one redeeming quality Ive seen in their people, they are always willing to learn, and to change. Thats a quality which is lacking in other nations.

Depends on what area you live in. The majority of those 35 and under, are highly educated.
