Former Big Brother contestant Jade Goody almost died giving birth to her second child, she has revealed.

The 23-year-old suffered an internal cut when she went into labour with son Freddy.

And at one point, the bleeding got so bad doctors thought the only way to stop it would be to remove Jade's womb.

The reality TV star told This Morning: "I was scared because there was blood everywhere.

"I had six pints of blood pumped back into my body."

Explaining what had happened, she said: "They found this cut the size of a paper cut and that was what was making me bleed so ridiculously."

But mum and baby survived the trauma and both are now doing fine.

In fact, Jade is so well she is even refusing to rule out a reunion with her ex-boyfriend Jeff Brazier, who is also the father of her two sons, Freddy and 18-month-old Bobby.

"We are definitely getting on well," she said on the show.
