SATC movie sequel confirmed

Sarah Jessica Parker and co have signed up for a sequel to the Sex And The City movie, it's been confirmed.

The actresses - Sarah Jessica, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - are due to be reunited on the silver screen in 2010.

Candice McDonough, a spokeswoman for New Line Cinema, confirmed the four stars and writer-director Michael Patrick King are signed for a sequel to last year's box office hit, which was based on their hugely successful TV series.

King said in a statement: "I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel ... but I'm busy with my 'Sex' life."

New Line parent Warner Bros plans to have the sequel out in the summer 2010.

We all knew is was coming but its great its been confirmed.

The first one was okay, but I'd never seen the TV series before so it was all new to me. I think having a sequel may be clutching at straws a bit though.

The TV show is actually a million times better but I am still ecstatic there is another movie.

They only signed up because they are so pathetic at acting that they can't get jobs doing anything else... these are the only characters they know how to play.

Well good at acting or not its one of the most successful tv shows of all time with one of the biggest single tv show fan base of all time. ;]

Aye thats good... for the writers. I don't think much of the actresses in it though.
