Sharon Osbourne: 'I quit X Factor because of Danni Minogue'

Sharon Osbourne quit as an X Factor judge because of Dannii Minogue whom she criticised as having bad plastic surgery and no sense of humour.

Osbourne, 56, left the ITV1 show in June after four series, saying it was "time to move on".

"I left because of Dannii Minogue" she said "simple as that".

"I didn't enjoy working with her at all and the prospect of spending six months sitting next to her, I thought 'my life is better than that'."

She added that Minogue had "no sense of humour" and "bad plastic surgery".

Osbourne rejected the suggestion that her fall-out with Minogue came about because she was jealous of the younger woman's looks.

"I was 54, been round the block" she said "I've not built my career on my looks or my youth," she said.

"There was no competition because we're so opposite" she told Piers Morgan in a new ITV series.

"I didn't hate her because hatred is very close to love and takes a lot of emotion and I don't have that time for her" she said "she was like an insect, a mosquito that wouldn't go away"

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole replaced Osbourne for the show's fifth series, and was a huge hit with viewers.

In the ITV interview, Osbourne admitted she regretted her decision to expose her family on the MTV reality show 'The Osbournes' and revealed how fighting cancer had affected her family.

"It affected them much worse then me. Ozzie literally had a nervous breakdown, Jack went to drugs and Kelly tried to be a mum and daughter, it affected us all it was a family disease."

Osbourne also said she used to hand out an unusual form of retribution to people who crossed her.

"I haven't sent a Tiffany box for years, but I did used to send boxes full of crap to people who annoyed me," she said.

"I can remember Jack saying to me: 'Mummy, why do I have to poo in a box?' and I said: "Jack, shut up and keep s*******!"

She needs to get over the fact that people preffer dannii to her! she also needs to get over the fact its been like a year!!!
And WHY is she bringing the way dannii looks into this? She looks alot better than sharon. Sharron needs to look in a mirror.

see I like Dannii because she is honest to the contestants w/out having to resort to humiliating them or being rude, and she gives them really good advice and constructive criticism, whereas Cheryl is too nice and is always complimenting them, even if they are crap. And Louis, god he annoys me, he has nothing good to say, unless it's his act, makes stupid decisions, and is generally pointless.
