BIG Brother has beaten David Beckham as the most looked for phrase on search engine MSN.
The Channel 4 reality show topped the list after its raunchiest, toughest and funniest series ever in 2004. Emotional transsexual Nadia Almada won the hearts of the nation when she was crowed the fifth winner in the summer. The hilarious Portugese chain-smoker kept the audience in suspense over whether she would reveal her sex op secret to housemates. Sexy babes including Shell, who famously mowed the lawn naked, and South African Vanessa also proved popular with the fellas - and Geordie lass Michelle had the UK hooked after she famously pounced on hunky Stuart and said: “Do you want to feel me baps?” But 2004 hasn’t been a good year for soccer star Becks after his vital Euro 2004 penalty miss and highly publicised private life. The England captain has fallen to No70 – a staggering 56 place drop from last year. Meanwhile Premiership champions Arsenal can also celebrate topping the football club search list. The North London side were unbeaten throughout the entire 2003-2004 season and are at No12. Liverpool are second at No19, with fierce title rivals Manchester United one place behind. And one wedding wasn’t enough for Britney Spears. The singer, who had one marriage annulled and celebrated another with her backing dancer Kevin Federline, dropped eight places to No25. The list also reflects the changing times in the record industry as online music threatens to replace CDs. The launch of the UK’s first official download chart coincides with music downloads entering the list for the first time at number 38. Top 25 1. Big Brother 2. Inland Revenue 3. Horoscopes 4.
