SHE may have won the hearts of a nation after coming out on top in Big Brother 5, but Nadia Almada admits she’s a loser when it comes to love.
The 27-year-old says a series of disastrous dates have left her fearing she’ll never find her "Prince Charming", a man to sweep her off her feet.

Although she admits she’s got her eye on three celebrity hunks – and would happily lock lips with Jude Law, Robbie Williams and EastEnders Nigel Harman.

Transsexual Nadia, who was born a boy called Jorge, said: "I’ve been out with a couple of nice guys since Big Brother but there just hasn’t been that special connection.

"I met one guy who kept calling me and texting me but it was all just too much and it put me off. I don’t know if I’ll ever find my Prince Charming, maybe I should just stop kidding myself."

The Portuguese star believes her expectations are too high and told us her trust in men was shattered when an ex-boyfriend revealed intimate details about their relationship.

"I felt so betrayed," she added. "But at the same time it was such a strange situation because he was telling the world how much he loved me."

But it’s not the first time the reality TV favourite has faced demons from her past – that even left her contemplating suicide.

Shortly after leaving the Big Brother house, it was revealed the former bank worker had worked as a prostitute to fund her sex swap operation.

She said: "It was a tough time. But sometimes you have to face up to your past and not hide it.

"What’s done is done and talking about that time in my life has made me stronger.

"And I think I’m a good example that it’s never too late to turn over a new leaf."

Nadia added: "I have been through some really tough times in my life. I just thought, is there any point in carrying on?

"But even when I was on the brink of suicide, at the back of my mind I always knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel."

And if the last six months are anything to go by, things can only get better for the lady with the raucous laugh.

Nadia says she has had the time of her life since Big Brother when she has released a single, made a cameo appearance in Hollyoaks, starred as a mermaid in panto and now released a Latino dance workout video.

She said: "Recording my single was fantastic and dancing with such hunks for the Latino dance video was great, if a little distracting!

"Dancing is a fantastic way to keep fit. It’s completely changed my bodyshape. I’ve dropped from a size 14 to a 10. I’m ecstatic about it!"

"I love my life – I’m having a blast. But I’d say the highlight of this year has to be sharing a bed with Robbie Williams!" she added.

"I was filmed with him for Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. I had to try and control myself - it got quite cosy in there.

Admitting she’s a complete telly addict, Nadia says she has one eye on starring on the box – and those EastEnders better watch out.

"I love Footballers Wives and Bad Girls but EastEnders is the best. It would be my absolute dream to get behind the bar of the Queen Vic. I’d make a really good baddie – I reckon I could take on the Mitchells!" she said.

And she’ll be glued to Celebrity Big Brother when it starts on Thursday.

"I can’t wait to find out who’s going to be in it," she said.

"If it was up to me I would ask Joanna Lumley, James Dreyfuss and Lilly Savage because they are so funny and Enrique Iglesias and Jude Law because they are so gorgeous.

"And everyone knows gorgeous men make good TV."
