Default Amityville Horror - Possibly the most scary horror film ever!

Has anyone seen the original Amityville Horror? God it's so creepy.
I remember watching it at home when i was about...8? And i was so scared i couldn't sleep

Trailer

The remake was awful! They totally messed up the character. Although that demonic Pig-god thing was creepy. It's more scary because it's based on a true story

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amityville_Horror

I know Wikipedia isn't reliable, but if you type in George Lutz on youtube, he talks about releasing the book and what he went through

It's so scary!

What about the Head spinning child
in 'The Exorcist'
is that not more of a Top Horror.

The head spinning in the Exorcist was a bit...weird if you ask me. Exorcist just wasn't scary, it didn't grab me at all.

It was scary if you was little, it hasn't aged well though. Better then the laughable tripe that gets passed off as a horror film nowadays though.

The guy is a total nutter!! He knew what he was doing because he had taken the dog outside before he shot and killed his family!!

During the trial he blamed his sister, then it was voices.. Then he never did it... Always changed his story. I think he is still in a new york state prison doing life with 100 years left..
