Default Islamic extremists claim Jade will go to Hell unless she converts to Islam

From the Sun Online

Quote:
JADE Goody will go to hell because she is a Christian, Muslim fanatics insisted last night.

The warped internet claim by followers of hate preacher Omar Bakri followed dying Jade’s decision to be baptised.

The ceremony was carried out at the weekend in London’s Royal Marsden Hospital for Jade, 27, and her young sons Bobby and Freddie.

But extremists who support Bakri and al-Qaeda launched a furious attack on the star on a website operated by a banned group which backs the preacher, who is now based in the Lebanon.

The fanatics declared: “The Christian faith to which she now turns to does not provide the answers.

“Jesus to who Christians plead for salvation will be of no avail. We call upon Jade Goody, other Christians and mankind to return back to Allah.

“If you do not then death awaits and hell will be the final abode and destiny for those who disbelieve in Allah.”

The rant appeared on the Islam for the UK website operated by longtime Bakri henchman Anjem Choudary.

There is a picture of Jade on the site’s home page accompanied by the caption: “O Jade Goody — Now is the Time to Repent and Return to Your Lord Allah and Save Yourself!”

The rant prompted a visitor to the site named only as Bilal to say cruelly: “Think of the benefits. Wearing a khimaar (head covering) would cover that bald head of yours.”

Jade lost her hair as a result of the chemotherapy she received to try to stop her cancer spreading.

It's claimed about all Christians, because they're not embracing the Muslim religion. It's just their beliefs.
Just like Christians would have claimed she'd be going to hell if she hadn't been christened, would people have been up in arms then?

It's really not as "crazy" as this article is making it sound.

No doubt there will be some looney left-wing council that will agree with this...

I agree.

Others don't; I just find it interesting that Sticks posted this article as a very obvious way to sensationalise the "evil" of Islam, when in fact his own religion supports the same ideas.

Well there was a flurry of Jade stories in the press, so I added this one.

And for the record, "Christening" is not actually Biblical, as the New Testament clearly points out that those who are to be baptised, should be believers. As a further aside, the word used for baptism actually means immerse in the Greek.

And finally I have regular conversations with a very nice Muslim, which is why I used the word extremist, to distance them from moderate Muslims who will also dispair at these claims.

Sticks, I didn't intend to make it sound like you were being racist towards Islam or posted this to get reactions.

I was moreso pointing towards the fact that the article itself is very sensationalist, in the fact that the views posted within it aren't so "bad" as they make out. Islamists are saying if someone is not of the Muslim faith, then they won't go to heaven. What's so bad with that? They believe this to be true in their faith, so they've said it.

I've been told many times by Christians on the street that I will be judged by God for not being a practicing believer.

why post this if you weren't stirring Sticks? I'm sure there as many ultra conservative crazy Christians who equally say she's going to hell. The article quotes a "website"... OMG you can find every nutjob you care to on the internet. Why are you posting the thoughts of Islamic extremists and not Christian extremists?

This morning I saw several Jade related threads posting newspaper stories about Jade.

This one had yet to be done, so like others I just posted it.

I was just going off the point that baptise is the Greek word for immerse, so people are immersed in religion not necessarily at their own will, so are brainwashed.

I wouldn't exactly say that was trying too hard ... but as ever you're just picking at small points in order to try and score points and get a reaction. I pity you

No, they are immersed in water hence meant to wash away original sin which we are all meant to be born with. And Baptism is like a preliminary thing. There's confirmation at like 13 when you confirm your beliefs like Baptism but you make the decision yourself. LOL Btw I have a very religious gran and I go to a Catholic School just in case your wondering LOL
