Jade Goody is battling to stay alive long enough to give her sons one final Mother's Day hug.



The reality television, who is nearing the end of her fight with cervical cancer, hopes to spend Sunday with her two boys Freddie, four, and Bobby, five.

The children have been staying with their father Jeff Brazier after Goody insisted that she did not want them to see her on her deathbed.

Last weekend, the pair joined relatives at her bedside at her home in Upshire, Essex, in what was supposed to be an early Mother's Day celebration.

But despite a rapid deterioration in her condition over the last week, the 27-year-old has defied her pain and is planning to see them again on Sunday.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, Goody has told her family: "I want them to have happy memories of me and to wish them a proper goodbye."

The Big Brother star has been inundated with flowers, cards and notes from thousands of fans, since she discharged herself from hospital last week so she could die at home.

Goody, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August, has spent the past few days under heavy sedation, drifting in and out of sleep.

She has requested that she wants to be buried in the £3,500 ivory silk wedding dress she wore at her wedding to Jack Tweed, 21, last month.

Her funeral cortege is expected to travel through Bermondsey in south London, where she grew up, before a service at Buckhurst Hill, Essex.

It has also been reported that Goody has asked that her mother Jackiey Budden have some cosmetic dentistry done before the funeral.

She has paid for the 51-year-old to have a gap fixed but Budden, who has a fear of dentists, has cancelled three appointments, according to The Sun newspaper.
