Default Ryan, Jensen linked to Goody portrayal

Michelle Ryan and Ashley Jensen are apparently being eyed to play Jade Goody in a film about her life.

Trustees from Goody's estate confirmed earlier this week that a biopic about the ex-Big Brother contestant was being considered and may be based on her second autobiography Catch A Falling Star.

A source told the Daily Mail that both Ryan, who played Zoe Slater in EastEnders, and Ugly Betty star Jensen are being considered for the role because of their ability to capture the late TV star's "fun-loving nature".

The insider said: "Nothing has been decided yet but already a number of names have been put forward, including Ashley Jensen and Michelle Ryan. Both actresses are thought to be able to capture the humour and fun-loving nature of Jade."

The 27-year-old died on Mother's Day after losing her battle with cancer.

P.S. I think we need a sub-forum specifically for Jade

I think Michelle Ryan is a little...what is the word?

She just doesn't seem like a good Jade to me

I don't. Why should Jade Goody get her own forum on here and not the other 100-something housemates?

If this film about Jade is actually happening then it's taking the milking of her cancer/death too far.

I doubt Ashley Jensen would ever play her either.

It's true? LMAO what a pathetic excuse at justifying your behaviour. There are a LOT of things that are true, hardly means they should be said and certainly not at a time like this.

People don't (didn't) like her, don't expect them to change their minds and not to post their opinions just because they have died.

I'm sorry I don't recall ever saying or implying that. Just because you think that doesn't mean you must express it, not in such a nasty way or at a time when her fans are in mourning.

Careful Locke. I made a lot of enemies because I don't conform to mass mourning someone I don't know.

Well I think it;s pretty obvious they are. People didn't know Diana but yet the country mourned for her. Jade was and inspiration and a hero of mine, and to have her taken from me and others is devastating. " Get over it.". Who the **** do you think you are. Have a little compassion you ignoratn little child.

Jesus, a film? I could understand if she was a talented, decent, dignified or interesting woman - but she's none of them.

The sooner this circus dies and people forget about her, the better.

....yet she was able increase the percentage of women going to take smear tests. So she obviously had some impact upon people. People who know others who have died of cancer will also feel that they can empathise with Jade and her family. Finally, there's those who followed her career for all the years she lived in the spotlight. Sure we never knew her, maybe even never spoke to her, but she was still a fellow human being who died from something she couldn't stop. When someone dies, it's common courtesy to feel remorse or mourn - whether you knew them or not.

Excuse me to quote Russell Brand, "Our heros are not prescribed to us", just because Jade had a different background and wasn't a ****ing Princess makes her less of a person? HA. That really shows how mature you are.

That phrase is tired out. Respect has to be earned, your birth date is of little importance

Well if you're mourning over someones death from the tv (who, from what I remember, was one of the most annoying people to ever appear on TV), then I'm going to reccomend you to Dr. Stanley at my local doctors.

I'm sorry, I must have slept through the 24 years Jade held her daughter captive, raped her and fathered her children in a basement.

You and I both know that's a completely different story, people like him deserve to suffer as much as he had caused others too.
