I was about to suggest Who Wants To Be A Millionaire but it's been done before.
We need something that'll attract a wide range of people. I think something to test intelligence is ideal, because a lot of people on the forum have big egos. I wish I'd saved some previous games for this haha |

I u2ued Sam earlier about potentially a "describe the person above you with one word" thread, but that's a different type of forum game.
Hmm. Popular games that aren't already here/been done is tricky. Ugh I just had a photography idea, but there's been a photography contest Err... music is probably the most talked-about thing on TiBB at the moment, now that Big Brother isn't running, so perhaps a music-themed game would be good. I wish I'd saved that Music Quiz haha. I'll go through existing TV quiz/gameshows. Catchphrase - done. Wheel of Fortune - err. can't do a wheel haha. Price is Right - bit boring on a forum :s WWTBAM - done. Mastermind - done. Blockbusters - done I think. bit **** too. Crystal Maze - lmfao, impossible. Bullseye - ditto haha. Question of Sport - not exactly a popular topic :s Never Mind the Buzzcocks - haaaang on a minute. this could work. QI - not many fans I'd imagine. actually no, NMTB could be brilliant. If we have the "Next Lines" feature, a random bit of trivia (often called "Connections" or "Sorry, No Refunds"), a lineup of an old popstar (we'll have to find images of a really old popstar of some form and put them in amongst some random photos haha) - often called the "Identity Parade"... we couldn't do the 'guess the intros' round though. |

I know nobody's online to big up or shoot down my idea yet, but I'll just put in some planning into how it could be done.
As per the actual show - there'd be one host, which I'd be happy to do. But any of you 3 can if you really want to. Then there's two team captains - perhaps two other members of our team - say Sia and Sam! - and we leave applications open for the four guests. They are then randomly put onto the teams. I introduce the teams through some form of put-down about their TiBB 'careers' as Simon Amstell would do Say 'LemonJam' applies, I could mention something like the 'least popular, least unpopular Elimination contestant for two years running' or whatever. I'll make it up as I go along Teams introduced, the first round is as follows: I ask the first team a question such as "Why did Lily Allen have to cancel a concert? Was it a) her dog died, b) she broke her foot or c) religious protestors picketed outside" - and if they get it right, they get 2 points. Wrong = 0 points. Then the next round is "Identity Parade" - where the team is given 5 pictures and they have to pick out who Tito Jackson is. Correct = 2 points. Round 3 - Biggie To Smalls - they're given 4 pictures of famous musicians, and then have to rank them by order of most albums sold, or number of children, or whatever. They get 1 point per correct position - say the right order is 1st. Rod Stewart, 2. Ozzy Osbourne, 3. Prince, 4. Geri Halliwell and they put 1. Ozzy Osbourne, 2. Rod Stewart, 3. Prince, 4. Geri - they'd get 2pts. And then finally Round 4 - Next Lines - I give them as many lyrics as possible in five minutes for them to finish. 1 point per correct answer. Team with the most points wins. For purposes of the players' enjoyment - the team captains should probably just listen to whatever answers their teammates give, rather than ignoring them and going with your own instincts, but obviously we won't tell them this. Oh and I'd call it Never Mind TiBBuzzcocks. C Wot I Did Der? |

Thats proper nice but is it the game they are looking for. Isn't this more of a gameshow. Wheras the task is making a game, like we have NTM, Elimination, Apprentice etc on here.Where theres an amount of people. Instead of like a show? I dunno.

I thought of a quick three day thing. Like we would need to open applications tonight and close them tommorow. Then Wednesday we could have the first of the three challenges with 6 players. Then the two lowest scoring leave, leaving 4 for Thursday. Then the same happens leaving two for the final on Friday and the winner obviously wins the final challenge. Each challenge could be a different thing [like mental] or whatever.
The tibbtastic-tri-testing-tournament??? [name can be improved by far] was gonna be tri-team but teams wouldn't work. Sia is our leader.oo! |

1. TASK IDEAS Unfortunately, both teams have come up with the idea to run a TiBB version of Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Whilst Team 2 were the first to discuss this idea on-forum, Team 1 argued that they thought about it during a private discussion last night. In order to keep the competition as fair as possible, I have come to the conclusion that neither of the teams will be allowed to use this idea for this task. 2. THREADS On the subject of keeping the competition fair, after consultation with James, we have decided that teams should post both of their threads at the same time as each other. Teams should write the opening posts of their threads in advance, inform me when they are ready to post them and once both teams are ready, I will set a time for posting. Teams are now free to continue with the task. |

Why don't we do something similar to Buzzcocks. So literally a music game where you get two teams. Or we could always have like four single players. Then like have like three rounds. Perhaps one player could leave the game after round 1, then another round 2 then like a showdown in round 3. It still could be the tri thing lol. But not over three days but three different or generally musical challenges.

Can I ask that you do something other than a music-related panel show. It'd be unfair on the other team if you continued with that idea after the Buzzcocks incident. Thanks.
