I was thinking of a show that i was going to write ages ago but i thought forget it. It was originally called Going At It. About a family.. It was going to be like Skins.. Everyone gets an episode, it's a show for both teenagers and adults and i think it can work quite well... However looking on the the time and how long we have i dunno if that can work. But it can be one episode and we can tell everyone that everyone gets an episode.

[Edit] If we go with that idea i think the show should be called Everyone's At It. Just like the Lily Allen Song..

I like the idea but not sure on the name. I think it needs to have a short yet cool name.

I think it defiantly needs a sense of comedy as its gonna contain forum members. Also I think what ius really needed at the end of Part 1 we need a proper nice cliffhanger. Nothing too cheesy or dramatic but something that hooks the reader nicely.

Ohh of course... I am sure one of the hardcore britney fans signed up.. They could be one of the sons... and their room could be full of britney stuff. THEN the dad gets caught having a wank in their room

Nahh. I think this should be between Skins but less hardcore and Hollyoaks.

How about a family of 6 under 1 roof.

Mum
Dad
Son 1
Daughter 1
Uncle 1
Grandad 1

The Show can be called 6 Under 1!

6 Family Members. 1 House. 1 Extraordinary Ending.

I personally like the idea but not the name. I think we will get a better reaction from something like Hollyoaks but it depends how we do it.

Then again Loukas we could do sumin like that. But instead of an Uncle, the sons best friend who aint got a house or sumin, and he moves in and the family want him outt or sumin. And the grandad could be a bit clueless and crapp.

I thought of an idea:

It's a family based program, they live above a corner shop and own it?

Princess [43] - pretty normal mum, is in utter love with her husband / is a bit of a matriacre. She owns the shop.
Billy [38] - is having an affair with Ross - [married Princess for her money]
Ross [18] - having an affair with Billy, is Waters' best friend
Waters [18] is the oldest child - bit of a twat - immature
Brona [16] shagged quite a lot of the guys in her year, everyone wants to be Brona
Firewire [14] pretty strange, finds out about his dads affair- gets bullied

It could be set in the corner shop, house & some school scenes.

Could be called "On The Corner"

Bit strange, specially having Billy having an affair with Ross. Can easily be changed. [for example; Ross could be secretly shagging Brona?]

Like it?

Just read through this! It's a good idea Loukas Thing is, is it a one-off story or like a series? If it was a one off story to leave it on a cliffhanger could be bad

I also LOVE this task, I got full marks in my creative writing in my English Literature paper and coursework

So are we going with this idea or shall we brainstorm some more?

It's good but the only thing is it's a bit... predictable? it's not like WOAH WIDE OUT! i reckon we should change some of the personalities a tad - make them less stereotypical than they are now - and make it less soap-like but the whole corner shop thing is coooool

I think more brainstorming, btw Sia I didn't want you gone you narna.

But yeh. I think we should first think of a brilliant idea which suits our characters then decide if we want the Sim illustration or not.

Sia do you have any nice ideas. Getting full marks and all :P

For our English Coursework we had to do an Original Writing piece. Didn't get full marks but got an A. Still pretty good right

Ideas

1) Everyone is rich and fabulous... with problems (too much like gossip girl)
2) Based in a school (hmmm.. grange hill)
3) Based in college (hollyoaks!?)
4) Fairy Story
5) Horror Story
6) Murder mystery
7) Science fiction
8) Everyone lives in Antartica...
9) Modern day comedy of errors / romeo and juliet
10) They are stranded on a desert island (shipwrecked/lost)
11) The day of 9/11
12) World War 2
13) World War 3
14) They have time travelled to Ancient Greece/Cave men times/Iron Age
15) They are the royal family of an island their ancestors came to many years before
16) They are all seperate people and their lives interlink but they never meet [sort of been done before but could be interesting]
17) Corner shop angle: the thoughts of everyone in the queue at the time

I have more :P

I think we need something modern and quite realistic perhaps? I like the idea of the hollyoaks kind of idea. Because if they aren't in a family then more relationships and storylines can occur.

and the other one was about Pi. the number on a calculator, that is. It was so good! It was like

"Here he is again, pushing me," and "I want to tell him the answers but he's using me in the wrong way" and "Everybody said I was odd - my foot stuck out"

obv much posher and stuff

hahah my stories were so odd

Problem is it's all been done before
I reckon we should get a concept like that but we need to make it different
I mean there's always the same old characters with different names and it's rather dull

think outSIDE the box

Random Character ideas:

A lesbian who was abused by her step dad when she was younger (i know a girl like that actually)

A loner boy who talks to himself and has a pet rat

Someone with overeating disorder (well anorexia and bulimia have been done to death....)

Someone with autism (think JJ but worse)

NO love triangles though, soooo boring

I like that idea. I think it still could be called "Outside Of The Box". Like they could all be living in the same town yet have never met each other. Then they end up meeting each other in some way.
