Tibb's Photography Competition - Week one

[i]This is the thread for week one of TiBB's Photography Competition. The Live show will be held in this thread and throughout the week, contestants can use this thread to talk about what they are doing!

The Judges
This year we are going to have three judges and you can read why in the format description below, so here they are!

[i]Three people that know lots about photography and graphics, i am sure that they will be great!

The New Format
Every Saturday night there will be a live show where the photo's will all be shown to the forum. When all of the photo's have been shown, the voting will open. People have to send a u2u to me, with the names of the two people they think took the best photo. The voting will close on Sunday evening and the results revealed shortly after. The bottom two will be put to the judges decision, where the three judges will have to eliminate one of them. Once one has been eliminated on the sunday night, the next theme will be revealed. The contestants will have until the next saturday, at 5pm, to get their photo's in to me via u2u.


Because i want it to be same and mostly the same as the last photography competition and i don't want to change the good rules format, i am just going to basicaly copy the rules from the last series!

Rules
- You are not allowed to copy images off of the net, I WILL track the original source down of the image if I'm suspicious, and believe me don't go there.
- They must be taken by you, you are allowed to recieve advice from others but they themselves are not allowed to take the picture.
- Late entries will not be excepted.
- It can be a existing photo that you have taken, but preferably a newer one would be better.
- It has to be a still image.
- You can't show other people your picture before it is posted.

Rules On Editing;
You ARE allowed to;;
- Resize
- Crop
- Change the image to full B&W or Full SEPIA, not a mixture of the two or any other color.
- Sharpen

You are NOT allowed to;;
- Use lighting effects.
- Blurring.
- Enhance The Picture. ( Change the contrast/brightness.)
- You can not use effects such as, Overlay, Lighten, Screen etc... on any picture.
- No text, or borders.
- No effects such as changing the exposure, selective colour etc..

The Theme
Your First theme is going to be nice and simple, so that everyone can get a nice photo in before the themes start getting complicated.
The theme for week one is.. Nature

Players Can discuss what they are doing in this thread, But MUST NOT show their picture to anyone else! This week i am giving you a couple of Extra days to get your photo's in. Your photographs must be in by Saturday 25th at 5pm by u2u to LewisLeona, so i can post them in a live show at 6pm. Please give your photo a title and answer this question when you send your photo to me, "What was your inspiration"?

Doses the 'nature' theme limit us to plant life, or can it inclide animal/marine life aswell; like fish and stuff ?

Nature refers to anything that Sam! said, it is a broad subject which is why i set it for week one
