![]() JEFF Brazier, the ex-boyfriend of Big Brother star Jade Goody, is to sell-up his South Woodford tanning shop to concentrate on his showbiz career, and to spend more time with his children. Mr Brazier, 24, has decided to put the Sunbed Shop, in the Galleria, off George Lane, on the market. He is not happy about how the shop has been run and says his other pursuits have meant he cannot dedicate enough time to the business. He said: "For the past six months the shop has basically run itself. I'm very busy at the moment with programmes I've been making and don't have enough time to devote myself to the shop. "I suppose it's a nice problem to have as, since The Farm, I haven't stopped working, but it's not one of those businesses you can run part time," he added. Mr Brazier has been hitting our screens regularly of late. Last year he won TV show The Farm and came fourth in a celebrity edition of The Weakest Link, describing Anne Robinson as "almost as scary off stage as she is on it". Recently he has been filming forthcoming Celebrities Under Pressure and Celebrity Wrestling, in which he will star alongside James Hewitt and former tennis star Annabel Croft. He is due to appear on our screen in a special edition of Stars in their Eyes, although contractual obligations mean he cannot reveal who he is going to be. Mr Brazier said: "I would have loved to have been Lionel Richie, I think I sound quite like him, but you cannot cross race borders in the show." Another reason Mr Brazier is giving up the Sunbed Shop is to spend more time with his children, 18-month-old Bobby and Freddie, aged three months. He said: "Being a dad feels really good and they are both beautiful little children that I want to be there for as often as I can." Despite newspaper reports which quoted Mr Brazier as saying Jade Goody's reported relationship with a professional footballer was a kick in the teeth, he said they were "getting on well". Anyone who is interested in buying Mr Brazier's unit can call him on 8530 0439. Article Wanstead and Wooford Guardian |
