OK... so... me and a friend are going to the Isle Of Wight Festival in June...
We need to go from Glasgow to Southampton... Here's the dilemma.... ____________________________________ So i'm saying we fly (GLA-SOU) for £45. leaving 6.45 arriving 8.15 then have the day shopping in Southampton before going to the IOW in the Evening. ____________________________________ She's saying we take the train (GLASGOW-LONDON) (LONDON-SOUTHAMPTON) for £30. leaving 12.00(noon) arriving 19.30. So we have 2 hours in Glasgow to shop... ____________________________________ i've tried telling her that it isn't just gonna be £30, because we'll need to have something to eat/drink. and the fact that it's 7.5 hours on trains! compared to 2 hours if we fly?? What do you guys think? PLANE vs TRAIN |
