Hi emma.

Not sure what you mean by a wrist band. Could you be a bit more specific and I'll see if I can help.

What colour you talking about emma? if your on about yellow then its to do with cancer, red is for AIDS awareness, Blue is for Beat bullying and black and white ones are for racism.

I think if you take a look at some of the football websites that have shops a lot of them sell the wrist bands but I think you'll have a lot of trouble getting them at the moment they're very popular and hard to get as every where is out of stock! My friend ordered some in November and is still waiting for them!

Could you also be thinking of the Make Poverty History wristband? It is white, will feature quite a lot in Comic Relief/Red nose day and can be obtained from most OXFAM shops for a donation of a pound. It's about putting pressure on governments to cancel third world debt. I have one.

Read about it on:

Default Tear Fund White Bands

Quote:
The white band is the symbol of the Make Poverty History campaign. You can order your white band by completing the form below.

Please note: due to cost considerations and limited supply, we must restrict online orders to a maximum of five bands per household (UK and Ireland addresses only). To order larger quantities please call our enquiries team on 0845 355 8355 (ROI: 00 44 845 355 8355).

Due to the overwhelming response from our supporters to the South Asia emergency, we are experiencing delays in processing orders. Please note that it may take up to two weeks before you receive your wristband(s).

Whatever anyone does make sure you dont go buying the wristbands from EBAY because its all about the person making profit and nothing to do with the charity/cause in question.

The only wrist band I managed to get was the make poverty history, I wanted the anti bully one and racism one but no joy and like Mike said don't go on Ebay they are a big con.
Have to say though that it has got way out of control now! All these wrist bands soon we'll all need to grow more arms just to wear them lol.
