KNOCKOUT girls Kate Lawler and Leilani Dowding are getting to grips with each other for ITV’s Celebrity Wrestling.

And the Big Brother winner — who has nicknamed herself Brawler — was in kicking form.

Wearing tight lycra hotpants and revealing bra-tops, superfit Kate, 24, and brunette Page 3 babe Leilani, 26 — fighting under the name Vixen — grappled in the ring.

The first look at the Gladiators-style show also sees royal love rat James Hewitt, 46 — who ironically calls himself Gentleman Jim — battling with athlete Iwan Thomas, 31.

The fights have all been shot in secret at studios in Borehamwood, Herts, and will be screened on ITV1 next month.

A show insider said: “Kate Lawler is taking this seriously. She has been working out hard in the gym and is determined to win.

“Many of her opponents have been quite shocked at how tough and determined she is.

“The other big surprise has been James Hewitt, who has turned out to be very strong because of his Army training.”

The show’s line-up includes Liberty X’s Michelle Heaton, 24, presenter Jenny Powell, 36, former tennis star Annabel Croft, 38, DIY hunk Phil Turner, 25, and Jade Goody’s ex Jeff Brazier, 25.

All the stars are being trained by experienced wrestling coaches to battle each other in the ring.

But the contest has been tough. Showjumper Oliver Skeete, 45, and footballer Lee Sharpe, 33, have dropped out with injuries.

Also model Emma B, 25, has been drafted in to replace former Miss Sweden Victoria Silvstedt, 30, who has torn a knee ligament.

Meanwhile another challenge sees the celebs fight to rip each other’s clothes off ... now that’s entertainment.
