U2u voting closes tomorrow at 4pm and the live results will be shortly after. In the live results, the bottom two will be revealed and the three judges will have to kick somebody out of the competition

As You may have Seen, Locke, SiaSiaSia and Fom have not entered Photos. I Believe that Sia Sent it, but i have not get anything from her. Locke has had technical problems with his laptop and Mmotorola Program, and was unable to upload it. I have not heard from Fom, but believe he has taken a photo, So.. i do not really want to get rid of all 3, so i am only going to get rid of one. When voting, could you please give the name of two people you want to save out of "SiaSiaSia, Locke and Fom" Aswell as your usual 2 to save from the entries above! You can judge it on their pictures from last week, and the two you think deserve a second chance! I know my pic is pretty c**p so ahh! But anyways, the background is my fire place i think the colour and pebbles make it seem hot and dangerous. I also added the flame is front because fire = heat x

My inspiration for this theme was the sun, as all life and heat directly relates to the sun to exist. Also i thought it would be a good composition at the time because the intense colour and atmosphere produced a pleasing effect

The view from my Bedroom window... it was a warm day. and the sun was going down, and the Clouds came over and surrounded us like a cocoon... the perfect opportunity for a photo!!

Tried a few methods and only this one seems powerful enough to convey what im after. And after all, which heat source is bigger than the sun?

I have decided to use this beautiful picture as it simply shows the hottest thing on the universe, the sun. I suspose everyone will be doing sunsets but I think mine will stand out as its infact a Spanish sunset, the clouds compliment the light and generally I think its a nice picture.

It was awful warm and I was having a magnum, and I thought melted ice-cream would be a good way to demonstrate heat.

Okay. First of all a general thought - I'm not sure how the sunrise/sunset denotes heat as well as, say, fire could. Or steam. There were a lot of possibilities for this and I'm a little disappointed by the variety (or lack thereof) in this selection of photos.

Onto the individual comments:

.Andy. - Poor quality. The house isn't really a great thing to include in the photo either, and it's probably the worst photo of the series so far.

Christina - Amazingly one of the only two contestants to use flame. I like it. Great colours captured, as well.

Twilight - Not entirely sure on the inclusion of the love cards, or the crystal ball if I'm honest. This would be ideal for a romance theme, but your explanation and reasoning was valiant. A good effort, well done for thinking outside the box.

Mr.K! - A quite impressive sunburst shot, I must admit. But my thoughts on these have been established

JD. - I'm sure it might have been a warm day for you - but in what possible form does this photograph represent heat for anyone who wasn't there? Not good at all.

Conor - A good quality photo, but again...bit generic.

Brona - I like this idea. Very creative and clever, but the angle of the shot makes me a little dizzy. But again, one of my favourites of the bunch, you're a very talented girl.

Very low quality picture, but I like the positioning on the sun in the picture. It's a bit hard too see so it's hard to comment on

Hot picture (C WUT I DID THARR?) But yeh, it's quite original, love that it has a bit of a distorted blurry feel to it, great background aswell, maybe a bit more focus on the flame would have had a better outcome.

Twilight
This reads seduction more than love to me, but either way, I feel that heat is portrayed nicely here. Like the carpet in the background, very suiting. Kindof has a Vampire-esque feel to it which I like. I like the thought behind this, but maybe a more interesting angle would have made it that touch better?

Mr.K!
Mr.K is the name of my Art teacher, but anyway. I think that it's okay, doesn't grab me. Maybe a bit of cropping off the top and bottom would give the picture more focus. I don't like the builiding bits at the bottom, I think the ones just below the sunset would have sufficed nicely.

Very nice, has a classic glow to it, a definate step up from last week. Love the clouds there aswell, giving a contrast. Not much I could ask to improve, well done!

Again, you've impressed me, positioning on the sun is briliant, the skys colour is awesome, the darker land area is great, the electrical thing kindof adds another edg to it which I like, I think you'll do very well in this competition Conor!

Nice, maybe resized a bit too small, I can't see much! anyway, it's okay, but I think that this would be better taken from a different angle, like on the floor so that you can really see up to the road into the sunset.

Brona
My favourite, because it's out of the box and stands out. I think more focus on the actual ice-cream would make it even better, it's a touch blurry but I love the angle, love the background, it's a perfectly thought out photo, well done.



Quick note to contestants

What will make you succeed in this competition in my opinion is thinking out of the box, theres alot of sunsets here and it can gradually become a bit cliché. Especially when theres two exceptionally strong sunsets there, you may find your picture could become sadly, forgettable.

I'm not a judge, but can I comment on a few pics in here?

Firstly: Sunset = Cliché!

My favourite is Twilights. Many people have said it's more like romance/seduction but I don't agree. The way the glass is positioned reflects the flames, the deep colour of red used also reflects this. The picture actually looks hot, it looks warm and cosy. A lovely idea and well presented.

My second favourite is Brona's. There's two points to make on it, firstly; great use of macro lense/function. However, there's a rule in photography called 'the rule of thirds' and this picture, unfortunately, violates it - especially with the macro function being used. In basic - the picture tries to focus on the icecream, but it's at the bottom of the picture, not in the third of it - so the background comes more to life.

Cliché means everyone's done the same thing, like it's typical and boring.

Conor I prefer the one you didn't submit. I'm a fan of your photography, you clearly know what you're doing with it - but you need to mix both skill and ideas, and this week I don't think you did. (I'm not a judge though, hahah).

Tbh Conor, your sunset was one of the best sunsets, but that other picture would have got you more votes methinks.

Cliché basically means it's usually used, like happily ever afters in Disney films (bad example, but it's all I could think of)
