Just imagine if Big Brother 10 was amazing, content wise, with the best housemates, tasks twists - the lot.

Would we get more viewers? Would the general public impression improve? Or will it now always be considered as 'barrel scrapping'.

Truthfully, I dont think the image will improve and there will need to be more than 1 good series to pick up viewers. Would probs need something like BB3 followed by BB5 followed by BB6, 3 years in a row. I dont think it could ever happen.

Its a big ask but I feel with the right formula ratings could increase but not to the level of BB3-BB5

I think it has the possibilty to gain credibility again. BB9 maybe have been the least watched but content wise it is regarded as the best in years (bar those who started at BB7 who will always hold it above the rest). I think another decent series could really start to bring it up again.

Either way its going to end soon. Less viewers will watch this year, and it will just loose general interest. I find it boring now I just don't get the hype about the show anymore its nothing more than showing people living together for 2/3 months. It should of been laid to rest after BB8.

Even if its the best ever, the ratings wont increase. I just think that the average of BB7's 4.7m looks impossible to reach from now whatever the series is like.
