Default They tell us to get involved in extra stuff at school...

.. then it gets to report time, and my whole report is slagging me off for missing lessons.

I'm proper annoyed about this!!

When I first joined my school, all my teachers went on about was get yourself involved with extra things in school, it will look really good to an employer/uni/whatever when it comes to it! So that's exactly what me and my friends did! There are 3 of us who are always asked to help mainly.. me, Kez and Rachel. We do all the musical and drama stuff... we did it first about 2 years ago now, and then everytime something was on, we got asked to help!

At the beginning of year 10 (what I'm in now) we did a Bugsy Malone production, and us 3 were doing backstage stuff - and we were being pulled out of lessons by different teachers to help - how is it our fault? Once one teacher had a go, and it wasn't even at us.. it was at our class because we weren't there haha! and she didn't say anything at all the next lesson!!

Then last week I missed a whole day, and my drama teacher asked my teachers and they were all happy I was helping out with GCSEs and A-Level practicals!

Then I got my RS mock result yesterday, and I got a C, almost a B.. but I didn't finish in time because it had to be cut short (the time limit). In our school, RS is only worth half a GCSE, so if I get a C/B in that.. I'm not going to say to someone, oh, I got 9 and a half GCSEs haha! Plus, (sorry to anyone who is religious) but I don't believe any of it, at all, so why would I care what grade I get?

I got my report today, and it's totally slagging off the fact I missed lessons and stuff!! Even though on Kez's it doesn't mention it ONCE, and on Rachel's it says it once! On mine it's like 5 times!!! And on my friend Nicky's report, it says she missed lessons too, when she didn't, has been in everyday this year and has done nothing extra!! Mine and her parents are not happy!!!

Should I go and see my teacher/let my mum ring up? Personally I think it's ridiculous it's coming up for the first time in a whole year, in my end of year report!

You should get your mum to ring.
It isn't your fault you miss classes.

Yea, it's the teachers who are taking me out!
My other point is that the RS teacher who killed the class sent them out of school for a week on an Army trip! FFS!

She's retiring in 5 weeks YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!

I'd understand if I was sciving off daily, and not doing anything worthwhile... but I actually care about Drama.. especially more than a half RS GCSE!
