Default Covers that are better than the original

Anyone have any covers they'd like to share which they feel are better than the original?

Kris Allen's version of 'Heartless' is so much better than Kanye's! I love it so fmuch.

Kris stole that version from The Fray

I prefer Adam Lambert's 'Ring Of Fire' to the original:

&&this is WAY better than Estelle's:

'Leona Lewis'' cover of 'Snow Patrol's' 'Run'

and 'Amy Winehouse's' cover of 'The Zuton's' song 'Valerie'!

Adam Lambert took "Ring of Fire" and shat on it. He murdered that song. Horrible singer and his arrangements are rubbish.

Anyway - Eva Cassidy's version of "Over The Rainbow".

Ramones cover of Creedance Clearwater Revivals- Have you ever seen the rain? much better

Melanies Ruby Tuesday (Stones cover) she also does Bobs Lay Lady Lay well too but I prefer Bobs I think

Pixies- Winterlong and I've Been Waiting for You (both Neil Young covers and to cover two Neil songs and do them justice proves what a great great band they were!)

Johnny Cash - Hurt

Jeff Buckley- Hallelujah

American Pie by Madonna is soo much better.

I don't know how anyone can say that other versions are better than Britney's womanizer it's AMAZING.
Ladyhawke is so depressing I almost made a noose.

Britney Spears - My Prerogative

Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You

Pussycat Dolls - Sway

I cant think of anymore covers...

The thought that people think Madonna's cover > Don McLean's original, makes me want to kill myself.

I'd say Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" (Bob Dylan) is better, though I love the original.

Also love Adele's cover of "Make You Feel My Love" more than Dylan's again... Placebo's cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" is better, love both again.

Alanis Morissette's cover of Seal's "Crazy".
The Kooks' cover of Ace of Base's "All That She Wants"
Rufus Wainwright's cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" (though his is better than Buckley's and Alexandra's)

and, and I know this will offend a lot of people, but I prefer the Scissor Sisters' version of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb". They're both on my "fave songs ever" playlist though.

EDIT: Are you on drugs? Are you ****in' on drugs?

Argee with Over the Rainbow. One of my all time favourite songs.

Definitely don't argee with people who said Leona with Run. You can't beat Snow Patrol's. Especially the instrumental<3

I think this version of Could it Be Magic is better than the original, not the Robbie version though
