Default Cameron, Federico and Shell\'s favourite books when growing up

Quote:
We asked celebrities what their favourite book was when they were growing up.

Big Brother contestant Shell Jubin, below, says: 'My favourite book when I was little (and still now) was Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

I think the reason I am so short-sighted was because of reading this book so much with a torch under my sheets in the middle of the night. I love it so much just because it is a book full of strong women and is set in America, one of my favourite landscapes...

.....

...Big Brother star Cameron Stout says: 'I'm still a big fan of Catcher In The Rye which I first read at school.

'It had me in stitches. 'It's a fantastic book and I read it again from time to time. When I went to New York, I recognised lots of the names of places used in the book.

'When I was younger I enjoyed books by Dr Seuss and Richard Scarry - tremendous educational picture books and lots of fun.'...

.....

...Big Brother star Federico says: 'I loved the Perfect Hamburger by Alexander McCall Smith.

'I liked it because it was really daft and I'm very daft as well. It started really well. It's a silly book about this kid that makes the perfect hamburger and it really appealed to me.'
