Davina McCall is planning to go all 'Oprah' on us - or is she more likely to be the next Jeremy Kyle?

After her TV flop three years ago, when the Big Brother presenter failed to pull in viewers with her celebrity-based chat show Davina, the 41-year-old has been given another chance to prove herself as a successful host.

This time, however, she will be chatting to ordinary people like you and me in an Oprah-style format. The new show is aimed at a daytime audience and is expected to air on Five or Sky.

Davina said: "I prefer talking to ordinary people rather than famous people. Davina was crushing and the worst thing was the pity I got from people. I'm still fairly bruised."

The career move comes weeks after she revealed that Big Brother only has 'two years left', but it also means that Davina is not going to replace Fern Britton on This Morning.

I bet she will be the new host of that 'Five & Friends' programme which is going to be on Five at 7pm in a couple of months.
