Default Disgusted with Tonight\'s Eviction Crowd

Although I voted for Lynn to be evicted, I was absolutely disgusted by the contingent in the crowd tonight who booed when she left the house.

For gods sake, the woman was a contestant in a game show for a week, not a mass murderer.

I felt really sorry for her - she didn't deserve that.

I agree Kaz.

I was going to go tonight but didn't in the end cos I wasn't feeling too well. I'm glad I didn't.

I know she was a bit of a cow in the house but there was no need for it.

She has been locked up.Probably suffering from Cabin Fever and is glad to be free. Then some idiots in the crowd,in stead of saying how well she did not to walk out(like someone else we know), spoiled it all.

They have no idea the kind of stress you must go through being in the BB house

I totally agree with this. It was pathetic.

Lynne was just the token older girl in the show and consequently didn't have a lot in common with the others.

More evidence, I think, that older or older thinking people shouldn't apply.

People like Lynne (or Elizabeth or Dean) will only be more popular if Endemol broaden the demographic to include a spread of ages and not just mainly under 30s.

With the risk of sounding controversial here she deserved what she got, If your going to threaten to kick someone's head in on national televison, then I'd be more worried if they have cheered her, good on the British public for seeing what she really was like. A bully who can't hold her drink. In the end that's why they chucked her out, but were to polite to say so.

I didnt like it when Lynne got booed, it made a really uncomfortable viewing for me, I didnt like it when Stu got booed in BB2 or when Mel from BB1 did, its the fact that they are not expecting it when they come out cos they have been locked away for ages. She got a big shock and I think it spoilt it a bit.

However, even though she was probably upset and shocked by the amount of negative response she got, I didnt find her genuine when she was talking to Davina. She didnt seem sorry bout the way she spoke to Spencer, she was quite false I found.
And also the way she spoke to the rest of the housemates - well....

I am glad she has gone and I wasnt a big fan of hers but I dont think she deserved to be booed.

Athough I didn't care for Lynne and voted for her to be evicted tonight, I certainly didn't think she deserved to be booed.

It IS only a game, after all, but some people take it way too seriously. I thought the EVIL LYNNE sign was totally OTT.

I think the crowd reaction to Lynne was, sadly, to be expected. Didn't make for comfortable listening though.

I noticed there were a lot of Spencer fans there so they certainly would have no time for Lynne and wouldn't hesitate to let their feelings be heard.

The reaction was very over the top though - it's only a game show, she's hasn't been found guilty of some horrific crime.

I agree tho' that she doesn't appear to show any remorse for the things she said or did - just a bit shamefaced because everyone saw her when she was drunk and it was not a pretty sight!

So, who's next for the chop then?

Interesting question, Susieq. There are some who come immediately to mind:

1) Alex (because of his constant moaning).

2) Alison (there's been a lot of bitching about her today).

3) Sandy (because he's keeping himself to himself so much).

What does everyone else think?

This and the booing of Lynne tonight at the eviction has left a very nasty taste in my mouth about Big Brother.

Hmmm. i was very annoyed about this as well, she may not have been a favourite, bbut i can't imagine how horrible it would be to be votedout first and too be booed. It's unneccessarily humiliating, and I feel very unfair.

Also, (and this may be controversial) i think they treated her badly in her interview. I can't remember previous contestants ever been shown that amount of housemates bitching about them - obviously she may see it, but to evict her like that, get her in the studio then show her straight away people bitching behind her back - I dont think thats fair, and I imagine it's very humiliating.

As for your comment wild child, I agree she didnt show much remorse, but in slight (but only slight!) defence of Lynne, she seemed genuinely shocked how harsh she was when she was drunk.

I didn't like her that much at all, but I don't think she deserved what she got - she wasn't a super bitch, she made a few out of order comments, but that doesn't make her evil. I think Channel four should be ashamed of the way she was treated (although the cynic in me says some evil type set the booing up, or at least exaggerated it.)

To be fair to Lynne, 2 weeks might have been long enough to show any good point's she may have had, but I think what they showed was what we saw on the live feed's which was fair enough.

I have to say i agree the crowd was horrible last night we've only seen her in the house for a week we can't say we know what she's really like as we don't she may not be good with alcohol but that gives us no right to boo and who was the wally who jumped from the crowd like he could get anywhere with the security all around
