Dev teams are getting to grips with the power of the PS3, the Nextflop 360 is easy, old! Tired.. More are making the PS3 their main console and with the 360 not having the hardware and blu-ray it will become pointless.. But right now the 360 is the better option because it is cheap to make and easy, but that is not great for the future of gaming.. Lazy! Bit like nintendo, they keep it low tech.. Remember the gamboy? Sh*t and back in 1993, SEGA had the gamegear which was colour and much better screen.

If the 360 and PS3 were phones then the PS3 would be 8mp cam, hd vid, internet.. And the 360 would be green screen that can't text..

PS3 is the better machine, that is a fact.

I have an xbox but I'm not keen on it. It keeps breaking. I'm not a fan of the Ps3. At the moment it's overpriced rubbish. It hardly has any games at the moment that the Xbox hasn't already got.

I'm glad the new MGS is multi platform. I just want MGS4 now. But then again I'll end up getting a ps3 so either way I'll get it.

The Xbox 360 > PS3 in terms of amount of games. Developers cater to the medium. Right now, as god awful powerful as the PS3 is, it is not the medium. Ooops. Fact.

the Blue ray is the future and most games use it i.e MGS 4 and other titles to come, the blue ray gives developers more chance to put more into there games.

and can i just say:

this new MGS IS NOT MGS 5!

apparently MGS 5 will be a ps3 exclusive, cause why was there a no.5 in the background of the teasers?

and plus 360 cant even cope with MGS 4 'Said Kojima himself' so it makes you think that this MGS rising wont be as good as 4. and Raiden is not exacly a legenedary character.

Your calling someone else a fanboy? Lol. Of course the Blu-Ray is the future, but that does not mean the 360 is shit. CD was the future in the 90's and yet every console addon that adopted it before the original Playstation did flopped hard because, like Sony did with the PS3, they jumped the gun, never refined their technology, pushed it too hard, bumped up the development costs, and made it impossible for developers to properly test and develop software for their ill-fated CD based add-ons.

What your forgetting too is that while all PS3 games use Blu-Ray, how many of them actualy needed it? Metal Gear Solid 4? A few others?

It's not all about graphics, either. People go on about how Metal Gear Solid 4 cant run on the 360. Theirs more to getting a game to run than power. Left 4 Dead should have been on the PS3, but Valve software publicly stated the system was a nightmare to develop for. Cliff Blezinski said the same thing on a hypothetical Gears Of War port for the PS3. As did ID software co-founder John Carmack. Saints Row 1 was meant to get a PS3 port too, but it cost the developers so much bleeding money that they scrapped it and saved it for Saints Row 2. All examples of games that wont run on the PS3.

Microsoft will innevitably shell out the royalties and adopt the Blu-Ray for their next console. DVD formats are not dying anytime soon, and will take them years more to die out even when the 360 has long gone from store shelves, so this notion that the 360 is doomed to a future of hell is complete bollocks.

i never said the 360 is s*it.

i have one but i dont play on it anymore and thats my choice, i even think the Wii is somewhat better then 360, one thing that the 360 annoyed me was that it doesnt even have Wi-Fi built in.

Blue Ray is the future and the Blue Ray arket has been very succesfull DVD wise thanks to the PS3, Ps3 might be hard to programme but if i were a developer i would do my best to make it work, PS3 is a great console if not the best one on the market i do like 360 but i had so many problems with it that i just got fed of it. .

This New MGS rising should be good and i will use my 360 again once its out but this new MGS isnt made by technicle espinoge 'if thats how you spell it lol' its now got 'Lighting productions or something like that, which suggest this new MGS wont involve stealth as much as previous games 'MGS '.

people are saying that MGS 5 will be coming to PS3 as MGS rising isnt classed as No.5 and have als heard 'Rising is a side story in a new different dirrection.

I agree the whole wi-fi thing not being built in it a bit annoying alright. And your right, Blu Ray is doing well thanks to the PS3 [im pretty sure even as a Blu Ray player alone it sells more than any stand alone Blu Ray player] but the uptake on the market is still extremely slow compared to how DVD blew up around the time of the PS2 launch. The recession too makes Blu Ray even tougher to sell.

The wii being better than the 360 though? Nah, brah. Both the PS3 and the 360 have an insane amount of 'real' games compared to the wii.
