Default Ratings are in freefall. Will tonight\'s show be the worst rating ever?

Last night's show got only 2.2 million according to ratings thread.

Tonight's is in an even worse time at 10pm and finishing so late that a lot of people won't even make it to the end.

And it will be competing against the Apprentice You're Hired show which is very popualr.

Tonight could be a landmark day for Big Brother, not in a good way.

It matters if you want BB to be back. With such low ratings Channel 4 aren't getting their money's worth.

But it's their own fault really.

Its a Saturday, the ratings are usually about that level. Tonight will do bad just because of scheduling and bad luck on the part of whats on BBC1, the real test comes this week.

It's the second least watched Saturday episode in history according to IBB.

That's not a normal level.

Someone posted a link to the archive BB9 ratings thing on IBB. The overnights for BB9 were:

2.9
2.0
2.5
2.6
2.7
2.4
2.7
2.3
2.4
2.6
2.7
2.6
2.4

Most 12% share, some 13%. The highest 14% and the lowest 10%. Last night got 11% and 2.2m and that wouldn't look out of place on that list tbh. The difference between 2.2m and 2.5m or 1% isn't really that significant for one show.

It isn't as though its way off is it? And even some of the BB5 official ratings are what you'd expect from BB8-now. Saturdays are never watched that much.

I'm not expecting anything good tonight at all, what with it being on until quite late, and You're Hired! on afterwards. I can't see many people switching over, because I haven't seen much advertising on C4 for tonight's Live Show.

My point still remains true.

The first Saturday highlights are usually the highest of the series, as shown by you. So from now on, it is expected to fall further. It's very ominous at the moment.

There ahs been very little advertising this year, that's what makes me think CH4 couldn't give a to$$ about the show, I'm sure they have some episodes of friends they can fill the slot with if they decide to pull it.

Everything will be down this series until they give us some proper service.

Even improving the updates on their website would be a decent start.

Oh it's quite obvious to me that they don't give two ***** about the show. Which is quite stupid really seeing as it's one of their best shows. They'll realise what a stupid mistake they made soon enough if the ratings continue to drop.

I love the show, and the reason why im moaning is because im such a massive fan, they are ruining it, they only need to do one thing, thats the LF being brought back... thats it!!I just want BB to suceed and its not at the moment!

On the newspaper they said that the producers are planning a big different twist to bring up ratings, umm instead of thinking of one, it would be much easier to put the LF on 24/7!

face it, it will get axed when the contract finishs. but i think this will be the last one, they can just cancel next years anyway. so make the most of it.
