Default The Winner Takes It All

The Winner Takes It All
This weeks New Magazone has a The Winner Takes It All update on past winners of BB uk.
Winning BB means instant fame and riches but is it all it's cracked up to be?
We ask the victors....
BB1: Craig Phillips
"The best thing I've ever done since becoming a celebrity is raise awareness of Down's Syndrome and other charities." The 33-year- old former builder has done well on the career front, too. He's presented a number ot DIY shows, including Housecall and Our House, and has appeared on Back To Reality and BO' Selectal!. He ownss three houses - in Shropshire, Newport and his home town Liverpool - but despote this succes, he still doesn't rate the BB experience.
"BB has changed my life in all kind of ways, but I wouldn't recommend it because the new show itself is exhausted," he explains. "Poeple think they will go in there and come out famous and get all sorts of work. They probably will becaome famous but the market is already flooded with people whi used to be in BB."

BB2: Brian Dowling
Brian has become a successful TV presenter. He has worked on SM:tv, Brian's Boyfriends, The Salon and most recently, Footballers' Wifes TV, the 26-year-old has firmly established himself himself as a TV personality, and is grateful for the opportunities the reality show gave him. "I love my job. I've been very lucky."
" I did SM:tv for 2 years, which was a very high-profile job, but I only got it off the back of BB." Brian turned down Back To Reality and BB Panto, which starred, among others, Jade Goody and Nick Batman, and is keen to point out that money was never his incentive.
" I never cashed in on the BB fame and mad s***loads of money like the others, I don't want to have to sell my life like Jade has done. Do people really give a ******* any more? from all the BB series, only Craig, myself, Jade and Nadia are doing stuff. Where's is everyone else now?"

BB3: Kate Lawler
New! columnist and celebrity Wrestler star Kate Lawler has also enjoyed a full career and admits its all down to BB. " I'm not ashamed of where I've come from because, if it wasn't for BB, I wouldn't be doing half the things I'm doing now."
The 25-year-old has been a presenter on Heart FM and RI:SE, and has made a fitness DVD, admites: "I've made a lot more money from BB then I would have in my normal job. I now own my own home, I've got a new car and paid off my parents' mortgage. But I still go out with the same friands, shop in the same shops and live in the same area."
Of course it's has not all been plain sailing and Kate, who recently split with her boyfriend JW has has to put with false tabliod tales and some nastiness from the public. "I was at a club the other week and there were these girls who started on me, there are people who are jealous of your succes, It doesn't make it bad for me , I just ignore it and laugh because ther're not wort it."

BB4: Cameron Stout
Devout Christian Cameron spurned the limelight after his win and retreated back to his native Orkney. However, he was still keen to make the most of his victory, and jacked in the fish trading for a career in the media and acting.
"Right now I'm filming a movie all about fast cars called The Night Driver. I'm also shooting a new TV series for Scottish Media and I've just had a new radio quiz commissioned. I'm in talks for doing panto this year, too. I'd have quite liked to go back to work, but why bother when all this stuff is happening? I still have my home in Orkney, and I I'm looking at property in Spain, so I would say I've made plenty of money!" he says.
"It;s very difficult to see where my future lies because you never know what;s cropping up next. Since BB, I've had an absolutely brilliant time amd I'm loving it."

BB5: Nadia Allmada
Life has been a whirlwind for Nadia since BB, and That's exactly how she likes it. "It has all worked out fantastically for me. I love my life now, I like to be centre of attention. While she hasn't yet found her niche, she's had a go at everything that's taken her fancy, from bringing out a fitness DVD to landing a £30,000 panto role and relaesing the ill-fated Single Litte Bit Of Action. All of this has added up to lots of money for Nadia, and she is ,ore surprised then anyone at how successful she's been. "I expected to come out of the house and be burned at the stake, but actually the opposite happened."
There's been plenty of upheaval in her personal life, including a boob job, a family reconciliation, a new boyfriend called Richard and, of course, the revelation about her time as a prostitute. Even so, Nadia has no regrets about BB and is still enjoying the ride. "I'm very realistic, of course I know it might not last. I am fortunate people see me as I am - a woman having fun in this new adventure in her life."

The losers who got work from their BB appearence are:
Anna Nolan, split with her partner Tanya after the BB1, and moved back to Ireland where she is now a TV presenter.
Melanie Hill: worked as a joutnalist and TV presenter, and is now training to be a barrister, she dates BB3 star Alex Sibley.
Nick Batman: made nearly £500,000 from nedia and TV deals. He's done some TV presenting, written a book and starred in Back To Reality.

Helen Adans and Paul Clark still live together in Hertfordshire. Helen dabbled in TV presenting and released a fitness video, but she and Paul have now gone back to their old jobs of hairdressing and car designer.
Jade Goody, only came fourth, but she's the first BB star to make a million - from media deals, an exercise video and from appearing on Back To Reality and BB pantomime.
Alson Hammond is a presenter on ITV'S This Morning, and in January this year gave birth to baby Aiden.

Nush Nowak worked as a New columnist last year, but fame also made her the target of a brutal mugging that left her with a broken leg and shattered knee. Tania Do Nascimento has presented on Sky One's Fear Factor and now has a baby with West Ham footballer Youssef Sofiane.

Michelle Bass has had her boobs boosted from B to a D and has bagged Abi Titmuss' former job, presenting on Television X. Her boyfriend Staurt Wilson has gone back to uni.
Dan Bryan has hooked up with dance outfit LMK Project and is working on an album and playing festivals this summer.
Shell Jubin, has been presenting and moddelling, and has landed a work placement at New York's Guggenheim Museum.
-------------------------------------------------------

I didnt like this comment by Brian: "from all the BB series, only Craig, myself, Jade and Nadia are doing stuff. Where's is everyone else now?"

thats a little bitchy isnt it?

thats why ive never liked brian.
