I don't know if there is a thread for this (Im sure there is) but is it legally binding anyway, some of the other tasks were faked so surely this one was as well.

I had some friends at school who did it as there surname was Pratt. Im sure it cost a fair bit of money and was quite a big process.

It is old though, hopefully they'll revert back to their names now the initial non-housemates is over (I'm watching a day behind everyone else as I work nights so it might already be on its way out - lets hope so eh)

They had Neil Hamilton, who is a barrister. His firm dealt with all the legal work.

It is actually quite a simple process. I have done it myself just a few months ago. I ordered the deed polls online (about Ł50) Then signed them when they arrived. Simples.

The annoying bit was changing my bank details and all the other companies that hold my name.

I believe this is real. Usually when BB trick the HM's like that they tell the viewers what they are doing. If this was fake they would have changed their names back by now or told us that it is fake.

I still think it's quite funny and can't wait for halfwit / dogface to get evicted (well not so much I like dogface!!!) 'This is Davina ... The x housemate to be evicted is... DOGFACE!!!'

Yes and if they want to revert it after the show, they will have to do so at their own expense, although they may get a slight discount if they use Neal Hamilton's company as he said on BBLB they could do a deal.

Well I stand (well sitting on bed) corrected then, it would be nice though if they forget how they signed it then and couldn't sign halfwit/dogface on the next form the same and get rejected and forced to keep it.

Do wish Big Brother in all its wisdom could have could up with better names.

You can change your whole name by Deed Poll.

This is interesting though:

A Deed Poll for a change of name contains three declarations and by executing the Deed Poll (signing, dating and having your signing witnessed) you are committing yourself to:
