Default Contestants offered £70,000 to remain silent!

UKTV have jumped onto the Big Brother publicity bandwagon by offering £70,000 to any housemate who remains silent throughout their time in the house.

Possibly taking their cue from this year’s Celebrity Big Brother contestant John McCririck, who staged a silent protest over not receiving some Diet Coke (no, really), the station has expressed their boredom with the reality series.

Of course, if they were serious, they wouldn’t have waited for the contestants to be put into their temporary isolation period before announcing the offer. Reality TV may be boring at its worst, but UKTV are hardly leading the pack when it comes to innovative television these days.
So you enter the house, and say nothing. When the first contestant is evicted (first night?) it will probably be you, as you haven't introduced yourself or said a word, and the TV viewers will want you out. Leave the house a few hours later with £70,000
