Cheltenham-based firm Olympus Security will be watching over the sixth series of Big Brother. The company will provide the personnel to guard housemates in the TV reality series.

The Channel 4 show hosted by Davina McCall begins tomorrow at 9pm.

Olympus Security commercial director Patrick Strutt said security around the Big Brother compound would be tight following recent lapses.

In January nine Fathers 4 Justice campaigners, including Cheltenham dads Dave Pyke and Jason Hatch, broke into the house. Mr Strutt said: "Because of client confidentiality we can't release our numbers of staff.

"As always security will be tight and 24 hours a day.

"We've worked with Big Brother since mid-way through the first series and are pleased to again."

The firm was responsible for security during reality shows Fame Academy, The Games, The Match and The Farm.

Mr Strutt said: "We're experienced in managing these events and security for Big Brother 6 has been in place for some time."
