Admittedly servants probably want pay rises and he might have trouble with the moat but does he really need the money?
I suppose he could treat that dry rot in the West wing of Half-wit hall!

I read somewhere he is not in it for the money, just the experience to meet, live and interract with people from different walks of life. I also read he was bullied in boarding school quite badly that's why i support him. And i don't care what anyone else says he is being bullied, i empathise i've been down that road.
