for this week's Shopping Task, the housemates must learn and perform a dance routine to the song ‘Ole Bamboo' from the stage show Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Cairon went to the Diary Room to collect the instructions which he read out to the housemates. Quite a few pages of instructions later, the housemates knew what had to be done.

One housemate must take on the role of ‘Lead Dancer', while the remaining housemates will split themselves into three groups of four. In order to pass the task, each group will have their own section of the routine that they will have to learn and perform with the Lead Dancer. The Lead Dancer will learn and perform the entire routine. The Lead Dancer and all groups will perform together for the final section of the routine.

The final performance will take place tomorrow. In order to pass their Shopping Task, the Lead Dancer and each group will have to learn and perform the entire routine to the satisfaction of Big Brother.

After hearing what they had to do, the housemates gathered to watch a video of the dance, which we can tell you is pretty energetic. Charlie couldn't help but dance along, grinning from ear to ear, and Siavash was quick to nominate him as Lead Dancer.

"You're gonna work hard yeah?" he asked Charlie seriously.

Charlie nodded as solemnly as if his life depended on it.

"This is the best kind of Task. It's very achievable, and dancing is fun!" said Halfwit with his usual enthusiasm.

I prefer tasks like this ... they've ran out of ideas with the 3-4 day ones like when they used to do hospital task and stuff so seems like a good progression, better than half the BB8 tasks!

Are they performing the dance from the film or from the stage? I saw it on stage a few years back and if I remember rightly it was a little different. It should be really interesting watching them try and master the complex sequences.
