Secret Story 3 France (or Big Brother 7 France) is back on Friday the 19th and it's going to be bigger than ever according to the producers.
For those who don't know what the show is about, it's basically Big Brother but with some big twists: each housemate hides a secret which they have to keep as long as they can. Each housemates has €10,000 to begin with and everytime they discover a secret, they take the housemate's money away to their own jackpot.

What's new this year ?

-The series will last 14 weeks ending mid-September.
-No live feed this year.
-Some housemates will hide more than one secret each.
-Due to the court order, housemates will be full workers for TF1 and no more 'Reality TV contestants', that means they must have an off-work day, Saturday, when none of the housemates will be called to the Diary Room and no tasks will be done.
-The Friday night live shows will begin at 8:45pm unlike 10:30pm in previous years.

The house:

So the house is inspired from Matrix and Alice in Wonderland.It also has its own secret to discover where hints have been put in it. Mona Lisa paintings will be in every rooms of the house.









The secrets:

-I was homeless (Bruno)
-I am still a virgin and I plan to remain as one (Sabrina)
-I survived the 2004 Tsunami (Majia)
-I do talk to a dead famous singer Dalida (Nicolas)
-I was the girlfriend of a Golden Ball footballer (Daniella)
-I am Miss France (Rosa/Rachel)
-We are married (Elise and Didier)
-We are members of the Intruders Fraternity. (Angie, Romain, Leo and Kevin)
-We are worst enemies. (Vanessa and Emilie)
-I am an ex international criminal on the run (Elisabeth)

The girls:


Vanessa is a nice girl but can get very nasty if we do annoy her.
Secret: Common secret with Emilie. They're the worst enemies in the world, used to be best friends.


Daniela is a Portuguese girl living in Luxembourg. She loves being around her family, singing Portuguese songs. But she describes herself as being the worst bitch ever.


Elisabeth is the oldest one in the house, she's 53.
Secret: Ex international criminal on the run.


Elise lives on the Reunion island.
Secret: Is married to Didier who is also known as Alicia.


Emilie is fun, goofy and never forgets and forgives people.
Secret: Vanessa is her worst enemy.


Maija is from Quebec, Canada. She is a globe-trotter, lives in her own bus. She's very zen and only eats plants.


Rosa aka Rachel Legrain Trappani.
Secret: She is Miss France 2007.


Cindy is proud to be a plus size girl, she is sexy, bitchy and loves sex sex and sex.


Sabrina is the youngest girl on the house, she's 19 and has never lived in a real house, she is always moving with her family. She left school at 15.


Angie is the typical blonde wannabe and Pamela Anderson look-a-like. She brought her 2 chihuahuas Angel and Gucci in the house. She has a daughter.
Secret: Member of the Intruders Fraternity.

The boys:


Nicolas is from Belgium, he's a medium and loves 70's music. He's a radio show host.


Didier loves dressing as a woman, he actually entered the house as Alicia.
Secret: Married to Elise.


Bruno is 19, he's kinda the jackass of the bunch, he loves being with his friends and having fun. He does regret a lot of things in his past and now tries to help younger people.



Romain lives in LA, has recently divorced with his wife for the 4th time, he's a model/actor/restaurant manager. He lives the 'American dream'.

Jonathan is a barman in St Tropez. He is an ex obese and has decided to take a revenge on life.


François-Xavier. True fashion victim, loves luxury shops and everything that is fierce and fabulous. He's also a horse riding champion.


Kevin is young, fresh and arrogant. He is a sports man, loves playing jokes. He think he is a Brad Pitt look-a-like.
Secret: Member of the Intruders Fraternity.


And then Leo. Describes himself as vile, mean, perv and horrible. He thinks he's better than the rest and loved manipulating weak girls.

I'm not surprised to be honest, Endemol produces the show too. The fans have started a petition and they're complaining on every website they can. The difference with the UK live feed is that it actually was not free, the viewers had to pay but still, they are angry and accuse the producers of manipulating the editing as much as they want to.

I just can't wait !!! The house looks awful with this 'fluo green' everywhere lol

Yeah it's worse than Erwan in series 3. It's way too obvious like her secret will last for about 30 minutes lol
And hidden couples never last long, like Nathalie & Samantha and Caroline & Nicolas last year. Only Tatiana & Xavier worked it well.

I agree. He didn't look like a girl, but his biggest weakness was his fragility and the fact he never went into the pool. Julien spotted him on that.

There's a debate in french websites about Arnaud: Going out with a transexual female means you're gay or straight ? It's the big question I noticed on the forums.

Well, it's been better than BB UK these last 2 years so I hope it keeps up this year even thought BB10 is really good so far IMO.

To be fair I think no live feed in France's case has been forced upon them due to some stupid court rulings in recent months.

I'm surprised actually they're having evictions considering three people from the French version of Temptation Island successfully sued over "wrongful dismissal".

I'm not too surprised either about the live feed. This isn't a financial issue because the live feed costed €12 per month. I think it's linked to all the problems Endemol got with the court lately. The housemates aren't players, they're workers so it makes it more difficult to deal with.
I guess they know what they are doing.

It's just bullsh*t. Now all of the contestants will go against Endemol and the TV channels to have new contract (and fresh money).

TF1 has just confirmed the show will be on for 14 weeks with 18 housemates entering tonight.

Also, Romain's secret may have been discovered...he's a famous actor in the USA, manager of a restaurant in LA and married to a celebrity's daughter. He was also judged 2 weeks ago in LA for beating up his wife.

A parisian paper has also revealed Angie lives in Paris and her only hobby is to spend time with her 2 chihuahuas.

TF1 declared that one housemates has an EXCEPTIONAL secret that we never saw in the history of Reality TV.

Miss France 2006, Alexandra Rosenfeld was supposed to enter the house tonight but under a new appearance. But she refused last wednesday.
