Default BIG BRO IN CRISIS AS HALF ITS VIEWERS ABANDON SHOW

BIG Brother bosses are fighting to save the show after losing nearly HALF its audience.

Friday’s eviction scored one of the worst ratings ever as fewer than two million tuned in to see Sophia Brown get the chop.

The eviction show at the same stage last year drew an audience of 3.7m.

Now BB fans fear the show might get the axe.

Apart from the launch, which pulled in over five million viewers, only one other episode has hit the three million mark.

Now bosses fear fans have boycotted the show over the axing of the 24-hour live feed.

A show source said: “Fans were not happy about losing their access to the house.

“It seems many have carried out their threats not to tune in this year.”

And bosses are bracing themselves for more poor figures when posh toff Freddie Fisher faces American Cairon Austin-Hill in this Friday’s eviction.

Freddie, who was saved by fans when Sophie, 26, got the boot on Friday, is up again after a whopping nine of his 12 fellow housemates nominated him.

Freddie – who was forced to change his name to Halfwit to become a housemate – has irritated the other wannabes with his singing and cooking.

Four housemates voted for Cairon.

I think a good task is needed which will spice things up. That should attract a larger audience.

They must have known what they were doing when deciding to axe the live feed........Killing it in stages. They don't want to enter another contract beyond BB11 and possibly BB11 won't take place either.....

They need a gruelling 2 day task. One where they have to be awake during the night working in shifts, Cairon would love that.

BB is like the "Sharm el Sheik" holliday resort at the moment.

BB it's not exciting enough.

Lat year they always had tasks when they had to stay up through the night. Like the cops one and when they had to do the bike riding thing, oh god and the kareoke.

& in BB8 they had to stay awake for like 3 days.

BB is intervening far too much this series, and yes I think axing the LF has definately had a huge impact on the show..Do you think maybe the bosses will come to thier senses and reinstate the LF's..lets hope so
