The honeymoon is definitely over.
The latest sparring duel was between Science and Kemal, who launched into scathing character assassinations of each other last night. Tensions between the pair had been rising all day, with Science referring to Kemal as a "shemale" and Kemal making a mockery of Science's claims to be "from the hood." Things finally came to a head in the living area as the pair began throwing cutting insults at each other. "I'm the people's person, I'm the people's champ," declared Science. "I don't know what you're coming in here trying to be. Be yourself, be real. You're a man." He continued: "I ain't got no problems against gay people, but you're not gay, you're not straight: you're in between. So what's that? You're fricking confused mate." Most of the group made a sharp exit from the war zone, but Vanessa - who seemed to find the whole affair quite amusing - stuck around as Kemal fought back. "You're a joke," said Kemal. "You're just a bit of entertainment here because you think you're from the ghetto. Everyone thinks [that] - that's how it is. With your name Science; then I'm English, I'm Maths, I'm Art. "Everyone's sick of your voice. Your friends think you're a joke, I think you're a joke. The public are laughing at you. You've got your tits up your arse and everything the wrong way round." Relegated to the defensive, Science attempted to explain exactly where he was from. "I am from the hood," he stated defiantly. "There are hoods in England." But Kemal shot back: "If you really are from there, I don't truly believe you'd be in here. I don't think you'd audition in the first place if you're 'truly from the hood.'" With the clear upper hand, Kemal continued to mock his rival. "You think that, but I know that's a lie. Everyone is sitting at home pissing themselves thinking 'what a prick.' I guarantee. I think you and your 'homeland posse' are the only ones who believe that you are from the hood. "You're 22 years old but you're acting like you're 12. You sit in your room all day listening to your music, smoking about three cigarettes and thinking that you're hardcore - maybe you do a bit of dope as well - and you think you're from the hood." Things eventually simmered down but it's clear that this certainly isn't the last argument we'll see from this pair. ![]() ![]() |

the big brother writers clearly like kemal more than science...
"With the clear upper hand, Kemal continued to mock his rival." the only reason nadia won bb5 was because big brother was bias towards her. ![]() |

How was his behaviour disgusting exactly? They both insulted each other, they don't like each other. If this Kemal wins I will stop watching bb.

Did you see the pathetic b*st*rd trying to get everyone else involved in the row , like talking to Vanessa , Maxwell and Anthony as though they were all on his side (when they actually thought "What a kn*b-head"!!!) "he doesn't even know what freestyle is....blah...blah...blah" (so friggin' what , not everyone's into your shitty kind of music , the whole world doesn't revolve around rap you cretin). Thats called bullying , the way he stood over Kemal trying to get all the others on side , thinking they were laughing with the homophobic tw*t , when really they were laughing AT him . The joke was on him though , because Kemal out-witted the shallow , mongy loud-mouth in every way . |

well alot of ignoranumses (is this the plural of ignoramus?) tend to hate folks who claim ghetto status when in reality the guy just holds pride with his heritage and for that is getting hate from people who are ignorant of such things (e.g. kemal). i know it sounds madd dumb but i've had the science vs kemal argument A MILLION TIMES and people need to recognise some people are living hardcore ghetto and not everyone is middle class 2-parent nuclear family lovely (as im sure alot of people on this forum know already) sooooooooooooooooo, what im getting at dropping all this lyrical isssss, Vote to keep science in the house.

Listen I live on a rough estate , but that doesn't give me an attitude where I think I can talk to everybody else how the ****** I want , and expect instant repsect for it . Hanging about outside shops in gangs , shooting each other and dealing crack is not cool . These w*nkers get rich making the lives of addicts a misery , and then rap about it to get even more rich and expect the rest of society to respect them for it . So Science is either a true gangster , for which I have zilch respect , or a fake for which I have less.... ![]() |

Kemal is not even gay ffs. You keep stereotyping Science to be this massive gansta, you don't even know the guy. He may live in the'hood' but not everyone in the hood is a gansta, he has not once said he is a gangsta just because he is black and has a certain image. Don't start labelling people you don't know things about

I think to summarise up, you're right...can't judge a book by it's cover. Also, everyone is entitled to an opnion, it isn't fair to stereotype people, but i do have to say, there are people out there who look, dress and talk a certain way to indefinately stereotype themselves....noen of us know Science well enough to inflict such harsh or positive opinions.
I myself am 50/50 with the guy, not sure with him just yet, i wouldn't talk to him if he was in a pub or anything, but that is because i myself am gay and it takes a great deal of confidence for me to get to know someone like science. I think Kemal has done a tremendous job in sticking up to him, even if Kemal can be rather naive at times. Let's let the dust settle, sit back and watch the show... |

When I say his "kind" , I literally mean there are a "type" of youngster on our city estates that act , talk , dress and move a certain way that pressurize other youngsters to act the same way or be left out of their " crowd". Being "in with" those kind of peeps means doing what they do , agreeing with what they say , and talking how they talk .
I'd have nothing against them at all if 90% of gun deaths and inner city crack dealing wasn't down to them but it is . Science may not be like that , he may be a very nice boy with middle class parents . What I'm saying is , he talks , moves , dresses and acts like them and professes to be part of their scene ; which tells me he endorses that scene and lifestyle and thinks it's cool or acceptable to behave like that . I'm not trying to be a ****** with you , but I know what I'm talking about . I don't stereotype anybody , but certain kinds of people stereo-type themselves. |

THat was the point i was starting to make, people do stereotype themselves, so that way it acts as a barrier, it shows insecurity.
I'm trying to get my little sister out of this syndrome, she's admitted to being a townie, now not boasting here, i came from a private school background, i'm not posh, i'm not common, i'm somewhere in between and i don't want my sister becoming a townie, her dad (not my dad) has already bought her a burberry track suit of all things.... My sister is only 11 and already she's getting caught in the whole 'people stereotyping themselves' world. She then said to me she was now an 'Indy' which means 'Individual', i can't believe there is a term for people who are individuals....what is this world that we are living in?!? It's with this in mind i agree with your point on Science, he does have a stereotype of a typical back jamaican guy who i would just avoid if at all possible and would only speak to if i was enclosed in a small space with him, such as the Big Bro House. Anyways, we shall see what unfolds!! |

I understand what you're saying.
I could class myself as a raver , or a council estate badass , or a bi-sexual , mixed race, atheist but I'd rather not attach one label to myself .... it's very shallow . All of those things represent a part of who I am (exept for the "badass" part) not one or the other . I'm not sure how Science would refer to himself , but I have him pegged as a labellor (hows that for a title?). |
