Channel 4 has now confirmed that the Third Round of nominations will take place live tomorrow night. However, one housemate isn't eligible to vote during the procedure.

The housemates will be called one-by-one to the Diary Room and given a short and strict amount of time in-which to name their two nominees. But, if they fail to nominate in the time allowed, or fail to give full-and-frank reasons, their votes won't count.

However, only eleven of the twelve remaining housemates will get to nominate, as during the latest Tudors task, Siavash – in his role as Henry VIII – had a minute to decide which one of his peers would lose the right to vote. He chose Charlie on the basis that the Job Centre worker struggled with the process before. "(He) should have done Sree," mumbled Marcus, still gunning for his Indian peer.

The public vote phone lines will open at 10am on Thursday morning.

Why can't they just nominate during the day and then broadcast them all live on the night? It would create so much more tension.

Oh well, I'll see how it pans out, I still don't think it'll cause any friction at all, because they'll all just still come out with the stupid reasons for nominating them, and everyone will just be like 'ahh it doesn't matter, we all have to do it'.

whats the point

as soon as the first housemate goes in to nominate they will all know its being shown to the other housemates and then all the housemates will give shi**y reasons for putting them up???!!!!!

They should do it as normal and then tell the housemates afterwards that they are going to watch a film, give them picks and drink and let them watch as they backstab each other!

erm it might be interesting.. if big brother are to a STRICT timescale! and the housemates only have like 30 seconds each to nominate 2 people and valid reasons! be interesting if some of them dont get there noms in on time and then their votes are not counted!! LOL

what a load of crap. well i wont be stayin in to watch it, just watch it thursday night, they will do a highlight then of whos up.am a fan of bb yh, but now its gettin to the point of, am boared of it. i think it should be scarpped and replaced with a new reality show. something upto date and will be popular like x-factor is now.

I'd love it for once if they actually read the forums, see some of our ideas of getting them to nominate during the day, and then showing them to the housemates during the show, and as someone also brilliantly suggested above made it like a film with popcorn and drinks, and then made a last minute change and did that.

It would work so much better.
