Its on twice because they show the highlights first. Then the second time its nominations. Its a load of rubbish Tbh, new housemates needed urgently. We have lost 4 in a few weeks they should add new ones now because if they add them half way it takes ages to get to know them

From the Channel 4 Big Brother website -

The housemates are in for a shock tonight when they will be called into the Diary Room to give their nominations – which will be shown LIVE on Channel 4.

Davina will spring the surprise on them in a special 10.55pm show, where housemates will be given a short amount of time to name the two housemates they wish to nominate. Charlie is not eligible to nominate this week because Siavash chose to take away his right to nominate during the Tudor Task.

Make sure you tune in earlier at 9pm for the main highlights show. With voting lines opening up at 10am on Thursday, you'll need to see the latest goings-on to help you decide which housemate to boot out!

******************

Ooh, I wonder who will be nominated for eviction!

Not much of a "surprise" really since they're still just nominating normally.. just on a Wednesday night instead.. and sure they don't know the difference whether it's live or not.

I think the live nomations show (although it won't be actually live, probably 15 mins later) is on too late. They should do this at 9pm unless they expect BB fans (even those who have to work in the morning) to stay up to watch it. Waste of time tbh.

True but on BBLB, Davina said 90 seconds per each housemate, surely that will take up about 10-15 mins then?? whats the other 15-20 mins for? Maybe more HLs ?? or another suprise i hope (but i doubt).

The good thing is that the 2nd show finished at 11:30pm and the LF tonight starts at 11:50pm i think, so that would mean we will see the aftermath of it, eg. people getting pissed off, especially if its shown to them after on the plasma screen.

Sorry to disappoint you. But the Live Feed starts tonight on E4 at 0:20am and on C4 at 1:50am.

There will be 16 and a half minutes of nominations
Big Brother will also have to explain it
They'll have to walk too and from the diary room
Big Brother will have to call them
They'll end 8 minutes early plus 4 minutes of ads
Davina will do a few links

Its about right really

But is there any need for Davina or a crowd/audience?? I mean there must be more to it, maybe an additional twist? or a new HM (I WISH)

Davina makes a special show feel special and an audience (assuming its just a studio audience) is just for atmosphere

They do it all the time

It would have been good if the Live Feeds were on straight after the late show and then you (we) could see the reactions of the HM8s almost immediately.

oh wow, so they're just nominating as normal, except on a wednesday, later in the night, and with a limited amount of time?
well that's really dissapointing.

I agree. After all the build up of a Live Nomination crescendo it is just a normal nomination (but faster) and here we were all thinking it was going to be face to face. What a BIG let down. Pointless TV and that time of night.
