Default Big Brother in HUGE controversy... More complaints to Ofcom about religion ignorance and animal cruelty...!!!

BIG Brother has landed in triple trouble with TV watchdogs, Hindus and vegetarians.

Footage of the gang having to live like the Tudors for a Big Brother task has sparked multiple complaints to Ofcom.

Hindus are outraged that Marcus tried to throw a raw pig’s trotter at Sree.

And the show was attacked by veggies for clips of Marcus and Lisa chopping up a chicken, rabbits and a boar.

Its the people that keep making stupid complaints that will end up ruining BB, Marcus chased after more than just Sree with the pigs foot, and the cuttin up meat etc can be seen on lots of channels on tv just think of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall

For crying out loud. How was Marcus to know. We know little about their religion and they know little about religions other than hindu.

What about when Sree handled the bacon, what;s the difference between a pigs trotter and a slice of bacon.

As for the stupid vegetarians they are not even worth discussing. They are always trying to jump on the bandwagon. Animals get chopped up in factorys all the time.

Sree is a hypocrite. Did't he recently touch beacon, from pigs, with his hands to make sandwiches. So the Hindu group should look at this also tell Sree off.

People are pathetic, next time they will complain about Charlie growing stubble and saying its "unhealthy" or saying that Freddie has old fasioned glasses

But controversy (good or bad)= Higher ratings.

Apart from LF and new HMs, i think controversy is the last final thing that could boost ratings.

Oh for Pete's sake! I'm a vegan, and I saw nothing wrong with the Tudor task (apart from being grossed out by it), it's no different than someone preparing a chicken they've bought from the supermarket, or cooking a leg of ham. And Macrus stopped when Sree told him too, it's not like he completely ignored his religious protests and carries on anyway.

He said "veggies" which would refer to "vegetarians" not Hindus! But they are petty to complain about this.

Probably Mediawatch again. And pork isn't forbidden to Hindus at all. Most Hindus are vegetarian, though.

It's not. It's an organisation that doesn't like this kind of thing being on television trying to get it taken off the air by launching a protracted campaign of complaining to Ofcom about anything and everything that could be perceived as negative. They've been doing it for years. They've usually not even watched it.
