So do you agree it is fair for someone to make a thread asking why someone has been banned ... and get banned whilst someone hurls abuse at another member on more than one occasion and gets away with it without even a warning?

I didn't see it, so I can't comment Tom? sorry.

Though I do think that a 24 hour ban is rather pointless. a ban is a ban, and TiBB should be more consistent. (ie. hannah) (sorry Hannah)

No I think the Mods at the moment are fine, the newest ones were needed and I think that it should stay the way it is.

I don't think you're a bad mod...I just thought it wasn't a wise move to make someone from such an obvious group (BH, football etc) a mod because it can make you biased to certain members, which you've been criticised for....
