You can @ them, and they can read what you @ them...

But not many will follow you - Britney follows everyone, but it's automatic... and I have Liam Young (CBBH) following me... he follows a few people off here :3

and if they like the "@" do they follow you?

They read the @'s by clicking on the @ function on the right...

So if it's @tommcfly, he won't follow you, but if he clicks on his @tommcfly on the right hand side, he can see all the tweets to him! Then he can reply if he wants too :3

I've had quite a few replies from Liam Young, a few from Tom Fletchers mum, one from his sister, 2 from his girlfriend... wow I'm a stalker aha! Xx
