Ok - I don't have E4 and so miss loads of stuff. However, found this on th C4 site and loved the thought of this conversation bewteen Jade and Spencer!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() IF the housemates ever get a task based on their knowledge of geography, they would be advised to steer Jade well clear of answers. As Jade woke Spencer this morning, her remarkable lack of geographic nous came to the fore. She may have already consumed a few small alcoholic beverages to toast her 21st birthday, but the following transcript is somewhat tough to comprehend. Starting by asking Spencer what he does for a living, this is bound to go down as a Jade chat that will live with her forever: Spencer: "You know you see those people in Venice standing on the back of gondolas, pushing it around?" Jade: "They don't do that on the Thames though, do they?" Spencer: "No. I don't work on the Thames. I work in Cambridge." Jade: "Is there not the Thames there?" Spencer: "No!" Jade: "Is there a river called the Cambridge river?" Spencer: "Yeah, it's called the Cam." Jade: "Really? You swear? I only thought there was the Thames. I thought that was the main one in London." Spencer: "It is. I don't live in London." Jade: "I'm confused. I thought Cambridge was in London. I knew Birmingham weren't in London." Spencer: "Would you like to go and tell the group what you just said?" Jade: "No..." Spencer: "Cambridge is a city." Jade: "But we've got a city in London." Spencer: "Yes. This city is called London. And there's different parts of it. Cambridge is a city." Jade: "Of where? Kent?" Jade: "Well England's a country, London's a city, Bermondsey's just a throw-off. Now where are you? What's your country, and what's your things?" Spencer: "What country am I from? England. The city is called Cambridge, the county Cambridgeshire." Jade: "So not Kent then?" Spencer: "Nooooo.... The region is called East Anglia." Jade: "East Angular? That's abroad. Is there not a place called East Angular abroad?" Spencer: "Jade, have you been taking the stupid pills again?" Jade: "Every time people tell me they work in East Angular, I actually think they're talking about near Tunisia and places like that. Am I thick?" Jade: 'East Angular? That's abroad' Spencer: "Well, I hate to say it, but you are." Jade: "Cos Scottish and Irish and all that comes under England, doesn't it?" Spencer: "No... They come under Great Britain. Scotland and Wales have their own flags. Northern Ireland and Ireland are different." Jade: "So they're not together? Where's Berlin?" Spencer: "Germany..." |

I actually saw this this morning and thought it was quite funny. She asked Spencer if he thought she was thick and he said 'yes'. He said it in a laughing way though. I don't think he could quite believe half of what she said and was trying to work out whether she was for real or not.

I saw this as well, he was very sweet to her though. I thought there could be an attraction between those two at first but I can't believe Jade likes PJ!!!!!!! He's quite funny but he's nothing to look at is he?

I'm not fussed on PJ at all, but he seems to like himself a fair bit, doesnt he???
I saw the chat between Jade and Spencer, and it wasvery funny, but, like Spencer, I was trying to work out whether she really was that stupid, or exaggerating it for TV. I may give her the benefit of the doubt this time! Spencer was very sweet with her though - that's one of thethings I like about him - he doesnt like to get involved with bitchiness and nastiness, like when he walked away from Lynne. |

She was exaggerating for the tv in my opinion.

I saw this on the interactive feed - it was pretty funny, I dont think she was exaggerating for tv, for someone who lives in London and thinks Cambridge is in London, she mustnt of known.

I couldn't believe this conversation when I watched it either. I think she is certainly trying to exaggerate her already quite phenomenal stupidity.
Helen had a sweet innocence and charm which made her Helenisms endearing, I can find no such redeeming features in this girl's inane chatter |

The most obvious sign of her stupidity is her constant bitching behind EVERYONE's back. She's not being careful and even today she almost got caught out when Alex mentioned what she'd said about Kate in week 1.
Helen was just a dizzy girl, but I don't remember her being malicious. With the exception of the one argument with Narinder I don't even remember her not getting on with anyone. |

Oh, come on!
This girl is training to be a dental nurse. Surely they need to do a bit of Anatomy and Physiology, fill in an application form, be literate? She is 'avin a larf! Can I just say, even if he is for real (which I sincerely doubt) watch the dust behind that trainee solicitor when he meets Jade's lovely mother. ![]() |

Hmmmmm. You just missed her on E4 telling PJ that she didn't miss Danny that much, implying that they werent extremely serious, and lying on a bed with him.
Now, i know comparisons will be drawn, but surely this isn't just coincidence - it is far too similar! She seems to have all of Helen's little quirks (minus Helen's innocence) and I'm sorry, but either the producers found a genuine carbon copy, or she is putting some of it on for the cameras. What do you reckon?? |

I saw it too. A very schoolgirlish conversation. I am very sceptical.
Also, PJ reated very angrily for a split second when she touched his head, then seemed to remember his facade. He is not what he wants us to think he is at all. I strongly suspect, based on a lot of years (professional, thankfully) experience of dealing with aggression, that this bloke is not a nice character. is ANYONE in here being themselves, other than poor old Alex, who is being himself magnified ten times over? |

I reckon Spencer and Kate are being themselves (although i know you are likely to disagree!). They aren't trying to be copies of anyone, and they have genuine affection between them.
Other than that, i think Sandy is being himself - if he was going to act, he would act up for the better! Alex may be being exaggerated, but he goes way over the top anyway, and I really don't like him. Even his comic turn yestrday hasn't swayed me. I saw PJ squirm when she touched his head, and was very curious - it could be nothing, but he seemed to recover himself too quickly. |
