There has been 200k of undated,
20 pence piece coins. Basically they haven't printed the date on them, they have to be the new picture on the front. So check your 20p's because you can get 50 pound for them, and up to 130 pound on ebay!!! I checked ebay ones got bids for 127 pound lol. http://www.undated20p.com/ |

So if they have no date on them, then they're worth £50? I'll have to have a look.

Apparently if you keep it for 10 years, it'll be worth £200.

Guys, if you find one of these, i URGE you guys not to sell them. Trust me, in a few years time there will be less of them in circulation, and the prices will go up. just keep them, and if you can get your hands on one for a few hundred pounds, you might want to buy one, it will make for a good investment.
One went for nearly £6,000 today on ebay! This is not fake. people actually are paying thousands of pounds for these (this seller even had the cheek to demand P&P, haha!) 20 pence coin 20p UNDATED MINT ERROR collectable Please be aware of their value and don't get ripped off |

Most current one on e-bay has 58 Bids and is up to £491.00 with 2d 3h 4m left, so the price is gonna shoot up on that.
£5,801.50 is ridiculous. Wish I had one. |

Someone i know has been buying these on ebay since this came about and currently owns over 200 of them. He took voluntary redundancy after working somewhere for 30 years and wanted to invest his payout. The banks are in no fit state to be investing in and getting much of a return so as a coin collector anyway he started picking these up from ebay. As it stands he could cash in now and more than double his investment or more sensibly just carry on accumulating them and see how the prices do. One thing for sure is its a rock solid no risk investment. Last edited by billy123; 31-08-2011 at 05:09 PM. |
