I'm totally confident I'll pass most of my subjects apart from two, Maths & Creative+Media. Maths I know I'll fail cause I've never EVER (since being little) understood the concept of what a number is. &Creative+Media cause it's worth 7.5 GCSEs and because we're like the course gineau pigs, it's been stessful and really REALLY difficult.

Is that the Creative & Media Diploma you're doing?

I'm in Y9, but Y10 technically now, because we've started our courses a half-term early, from after the May half-term, and that's one of the things I'm doing...

1 word of advice.. whatever coursework is given to you, do it quick and don't wait until the last min. Trust me it all comes back to haunt you in the end.. it did for me =[

Ah i'm gonna miss year 11, college for me this year

Yeahh, I agree with Xtina, do coursework when you're told to or it will all pile up and you'll end up not meeting the deadline. I had to do most of my geography near enough the deadline, took me ages.

Is it really bad?

Cause we've started the Performance module and so far it's not what I've expected it to be, on Friday we've each all got to do this presentation on Radio Plays, and then create our own one in groups in a few weeks time. So boring.

I know there's more modules to come, but when I chose it I expected it to be more about TV, Radio etc and how they were produced, and not all this crap so far...

I was predicted 4 Cs and the rest D's and E's, but I got instead 1 A, 7 Bs and 2 Cs =D

Just do coursework well and on time and revise for exams and you'll be fine.

ICT was my favourite subject in school. It was all I was ever passionate about.

Now I have first and second year diplomas in computing.

Just do your best, that's all you can do. Like Christina said get coursework done quickly but efficiently and plan out revision and such.

I'm the same with Maths, just try your best. The Maths GCSE is a good one to have but even if you get a bad mark in it everything will still be okay, most college courses I've seen (vocational wise) only ask for a C or above in english as well as 4 c's or above in other subjects. Even if you don't meet that you can still do the course, it just means you'll have to do a foundation course before the national course. If you wanna do A levels then I'm no expert but I think it's similar.

Try you're best but don't get yourself panicking, there's always options if things go badly.

If the creative media GCSE has any Film or television stuff you have trouble with then send us a U2u and I'll see if I can help.
